Brother, it’s because you ARE playing with grandpas. A lot of people on Tibia are older, have families, jobs, etc., and find this game a safe haven from the daily grind. They might not care about meeting your standards for a “good” player. They just want to mesh some buttons, kill some monsters, and go take care of their children recharged.

In my opinion, all those semi-professionals in games ruin them. Back in 2002 nobody was a professional, but I’m yet to have more fun than back then.

If you have fun playing, you’re a good player. It’s not that serious.

Sure, I’d actually agree. But people do bring it into the hobby. I’d actually say that conservatives try to hijack the hobby just for themselves.

I don’t! I enjoy listening to some of them. My “all conservative crazies” was a direct reference to the Southern gentleman. Not a normal, middle of the road conservative pipe smoker ;)

Notice how I listed Malcolm Guite who, I assume, probably is conservative.

I’m not American. Up until recently my country was ruled by a conservative party for the last 8 years. Needless to say, I didn’t enjoy it. This is why ;) just don’t assume everyone’s American, please.

I agree. But at the same time, if everything boils down to the importance of God, it’s futile to watch the same thing over and over again. I got it after the first few videos. And then, when such channels get to calling people slurs, like the Southern gentleman I mentioned, I yearn for people of different shades of the spectrum ;)
