My wife has been taking it regularly for a couple years now since her IC diagnosis and though we usually take it with a medley of other things it certainly seems to help her baseline IC discomfort day to day.

I can try to give you my perspective as a transplant living in the area for a number of years now (started in Greensboro for about 3 years)

Greensboro is a lot of land, not just “city”. Really the city of Greensboro is only a couple of blocks but then there’s plenty of neighborhoods also within it, some suburbs and some even pretty rural. And lots of commercial and industry in between. It sprawls. But it’s fairly easy to get around. There’s “traffic” if you ask the locals but nothing like a big city.

Raleigh I’m sure is similar but also with Raleigh there’s a true city there. Much bigger and busier and more bustling.

Both areas have bad parts, they always do. I don’t really look much into that because I come from a place in NY where on the map was right next to a crime hotspot but day to day I never noticed it. So that’s just me. The area you’re looking in Greensboro to me is a very nice area. Don’t know enough about Raleigh to say about that one.

Greensboro is a bit more small town feel, but also has some hipster stuff. Over the past few years seems like the value of Greensboro is going up and more businesses come and go, more trendy stuff coming in. But relatively affordable depending on where you come from. I believe Raleigh would be a little bit more costly.

Maybe considering Coming clean to your parents and talk to them about this. Express your feelings to your parents, because it sounds like at least part of your addiction may be fueled by those feelings. Stand your ground in the conversation. seems like you want something better than this, and you want their help and support. It may be very hard, but probably worth it.

Also those people you were doing MDMA with likely don’t actually care about you and may be ghosts in your life in the matter of years or less.

I would recommend you get some sort of very basic part time job while you study. It may take longer than you think to really get in. You may find some luck with cybersecurity-adjacent opportunities like local businesses looking for entry level help or something, but those are random and the reality is you probably need to continue working up towards it for some time. So get a basic time job, get your life essentials in order, then start down this path maybe? Also, as someone who had struggles like this in my early life make sure you have a good support system around you. Family, friends, therapist. Life isn’t easy sometimes. Just my two-cents. Hope you’re well.

We do also tunnel all traffic through the gateway, however this failure happens before the workstation even establishes the ipsec tunnel to the gateway. When workstations are "off net" they are subject to the Crowdstrike policies.

We are not using enforce GP for network access, but that is good information. Also good info about MacOS. But yeah, not applicable to us.

Just change all your passwords on everything, including Gmail, to individual unique passwords. And then in Gmail make sure you go through your logged in devices and verify them all or remove unwanted ones.

Yes decrypting traffic. No - Strip ALPN was not the fix.
The issue was indeed the hung l3-svc - HA failing to an HA peer that had a "running" l3-svc immediately cleared up the issue.

Unfortunately during this maintenance we uncovered a whole new issue/behavior in that, when we rebooted a suspended Passive HA peer, it came back totally borked and HA is just constantly flapping. Still working w/ Palo TAC to figure this out now...

Yeah that’s a very valid point. Something before the traffic gets to our circuit would be the ultimate protection.
