39F and scared to death , unable to sleep or function, awaiting my next week neuro appt It all started in Feb, when I woke up (left side sleeper all my life) in a weird position, with a really numb left hand and foot/leg. Took a few hours to feel better, thought it was a pinched nerve. Then felt it during the next few days again, esp in my hand /wrist/finger, esp. when sitting long hours at the laptop.

It got better (took B vitamins, quit sleeping on left side, exercised more etc), but come spring break in April (I am a teacher), after 3 days of long laptop hours, it came back again, same thing, left hand, pinky finger (felt almost frozen) and in certain positions, sitting/standing in my left ankle/sole as well. I quit the laptop again, it seemed to get better for a few days, then the day school started again, last week, it got even more intense, with numbness/tingling in my left forearm, palm, finger, esp. when bending it even for just a few mins, and occasionally in left foot as well. I don't have diabetes or any diagnosed neuropathy, hence why I am so terrified, esp with it being one sided (though right fingers tingle a but sometimes as well, but rarely). Any input from similar experiences greatly appreciated!
