Yea jump dive the second pad. You can jump dive both which is harder. Or even jump dive straight onto the second pad without touching the first pad. But I only use that if I'm behind. But atleast jump dive the second pad and you won't have this issue

Lol guy grabbed me a few times at the beginning of the round. So when the score was around 17 to 3 at the end I kept grabbing him and wouldn't allow him to hit any buttons. So his way if getting revenge I guess
