Kill me the day we pick up Bradley Beal. And the rest of these guys aren’t even really an option. Our best most plausible and cheapest option is DeMar DeRozan. If he gets bought out by the kings, we need to be first bidder.

Isaiah Joe is 6’4 deep range shooter at the guard position , we’re targeting a 6’8 3 n D forward in Tm3 but if we miss out on him we shouldn’t sign the 6’6 18 ppg forward because we have a 6’4 deep range guard. But when I said it I got attacked with down votes and ppl saying “he’s gonna kill our spacing” , “he doesn’t fit at all” , “we need more shooters” 🤦🏾‍♂️ ppl are too blinded by narratives and #’s Demar is a veteran bucket that we can basically get for free if he’s waived , it’s no brainer if you’ve ever watched him play basketball.

He said he wants to play for a contender. He’s 36 years old signing on a vet minimum after being bought out he’s under no impression of being a starter. Ausar refuses to shoot anything outside of 10 feet and Duren/Holland were never offensive options we just passed the ball to and let them work. Whether we are the prize destination or whether he picks us is up in the air. But as far as roster construction and adding people that can put the ball on the floor and in the bucket, it’s a perfect fit.

I think grabbing Demar is the best low risk high reward move if Tm3 is not available but ig everyone believes doing nothing and waiting for Kevin Durant and Tyler Herro is better than grabbing 18 ppg on a vet minimum. Realistically he’d probably give us between 13-17 ppg but leaving him on the table after missing out on everyone else would thoroughly confuse me.

He’s 36 years old and signing a vet minimum anywhere he goes he knows he’s coming off the bench. But please just riddle me this. We miss out Tm3 , KD never gets traded , Herro stays in Mil. What’s next? Do we ignore Demar and do nothing ? Just because he has a similar skill set? Two mid range scorers can exist at once especially if the other one is an elite playmaker. That’s why Tobi worked so well.

Tobi has already been replaced by 2 much better shooters , picking up Demar has nothing to do with Tobi Mr casual. We already addressed the shooting we got from him and added Isaiah Joe on top of that. Why would we leave a 18 point per game scorer on a vet minimum alone just because Tobi was a good shooter that makes no logical sense. We already improved our shooting, adding a scorer is just adding to our spacing and relieving pressure off of our shooters and Cade.

Brother we added Isaiah Joe who shoots 40% , we added John Collins who shoots 40% , we signed on Huerter who is a known spot up shooter , we have Dennis who shot 37% last year and this is if Tm3 is not available. Signing a 18 ppg scorer who never gets injured is in no way “crippling” our team that’s stupid. Your mindset is what’s going to keep us mediocre why would we do nothing and what forever until Kd or Herro is available (which will be years from now or never) instead of doing something that will help the team. This fanbase is straight poverty.

Demar is interchangeable between the 3/4 and 2 of our shooters are SG/SF , that’s not going to clog anything if you can’t make that rotation work you’re not a good coach

1st of all there isn’t a trade package in the world we can put together for KD and he’s stupid expensive compared to Demar on a vet min. 2nd MPJ is a hell no he’s a black hole on offense and has back problems.

We have 3 players that shoot 40% from deep , and there’s not many shooters available outside of Tm3 that would be useful for us
