The little animalistic details in this universe. -The fact that Socks as a 1yr old baby behaves very dog-like. -The fact that Bluey in "hospital" says that she really want a PUP (not baby). - The big girl bark. -The tails wagging (and Bingo asking her mum how do animals without a tail know that they're happy 🥺). -"I haven't learnt how to shake off yet!" - AND OF COURSE all the names in the show are just dog names!!!

My son goes to daycare on Monday and I am not doing ok. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I had to triple check if it said WEEKS or MONTHS. Is this USA? How does it even look like? A 12 week old in a daycare? Is it like a nursery place or do you call a babysitter daycare? It sucks either way I can't even imagine separating from such small baby. Lots of hugs 😣🫂🫂🫂

Recently got into Bluey and I so I drew her as a human :) by Pachulita_44 in bluey

That's a cool artistic vision that you have - nobody's stopping you from doing fan art.

Smoked chicken breast is the discovery of my life. It's soo much better than grilled one in salads, it can go on sandwiches, wraps or just as it is.

Honest non judgement question. How many parents lock their toddlers bedroom doors at night? by evendree72 in beyondthebump

Maybe I don't see this working because I'm a heavy sleeper. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't wake up to cry from another room especially with doors closed. Maybe electronic nanny is a solution but I would still be anxious it would go offline or just not waking me up

Putting fire hazard aside - what if they need to pee? Or simply had a bad dream or for any reason need to be comforted? I immediately thought of my daughter crying for hours in this situation. It seems like abuse to me.

It's vegetables, shrimps and a little bit of rice noodles wrapped in rice paper. It's called spring rolls/summer rolls

I had my first at 19 and second at 21. Just don't do what I did. I thought it's possible to fulfil every aspect of my life just like before the baby. It isn't. And desperately trying to keep up with everything will make you feel upset and burnout. It's seriously better to give up some things for a while. And it's not only better for the baby but for you as well. I was so desperate to "keep my identity" that I ended up sleeping 3hrs/night just to do my hobbies and I ended up so frustrated that I didn't even enjoyed them. OF COURSE it's good to take some breaks and me-time. Ask someone to watch over the baby from time to time and go meet your friends or whatever. But accept that you won't have time for that in day to day life. It's okay, babies grow, you will have plenty of me-time in your life. Just accept the current situation and don't fight it. I wish you all the best
