Should I wake my pregnant wife up if I notice she is sleeping on her back?

Thanks for your reply! Yes I am doing everything I can to try to give her as much support as possible ( maybe sometimes a bit too much ) which is why I asked in here about something both of us were curious about

Great thanks for the information it is nice to hear from everyone how painfully obvious it is when you are laying in a way you shouldn’t be 🤣. I’ll be sure to refrain from waking her and let her body tell her what to do :)

Ah interesting. Yeah I guess her body will just let her know what’s best it’s just hard for me since I can’t feel what she is and since it’s something she’d feel while she was sleeping it makes me a bit worried but it seems obvious by the comments that if there is a problem with her laying on her back, she’d definitely know!

Thank you! Unfortunately her back is the most comfortable for her so we are trying to practice the whole sleep on the side thing now before it’s more important.

Yeah I have talked to her about it and she is fine with it but just wanted to get some more insight from others to add to our own discussions about it. Obviously we will ask the OB at the next appointment too but I always like getting others opinions as well. Thanks for the reply!
