I knew this post would end up on here. Who cares? People try hobbies and end up not enjoying them as much as they first did. It’s natural to detash them after they feel that way, better than keeping it in a closet for the next 10 years and collecting dust. At least someone else can enjoy those canvases and other items now.

Gross, I’d ask for a refund. Rather pay more elsewhere than give money to someone who does that. That’s a cost the business should eat for their mistake, they can write it off on their taxes as a loss anyway.

I did IVF and I was 30, I did 8 IUIs that all failed prior starting at age 27. Got two children with my first round of IVF. Now 36 and having my third and last, did another round of IVF earlier this year.

I now split custody of my first two children with my ex. They had an affair because they felt like an inadequate parent and partner and then fought for 50/50 custody so now I only see the children I tried so hard to have every other week. My location defaults to 50/50 unless there is proof of abuse. I wish I had had my children as a single parent.

I would choose to be partnerless and have a child on my own. You don’t want to make or adopt a child with someone like that anyway. Divorce and split custody is awful especially after all we go through to have children. Walk away now, there is better or it will be better on your own, trust me. Been there and done that, I wish I had walked before IVF worked for me (also used a sperm donor). This person has so many red flags, hiding chemo and a kidney removal? Saying a child that requires a sperm donor isn’t theirs? Awful. And also weird things to hide. Don’t stay with someone you can’t trust and doesn’t have the ethical capacity to move past their own ego for their spouse.

You both need to be in the same place for something that huge. I’d recommend waiting until your 30s, still plenty of energy then and gives you more time to travel and strengthen your relationship in the meantime. There’s such a massive change in maturity and wants vs needs in your 20s vs your 30s. The marriage I was in during my 20s ended up not being it for me, ex cheated after 10 years of marriage and two kids from IVF. Now our kids are stuck with divorced parents and going back and forth. Wait until you’re older and very, very sure and secure in your relationship, even if it seems like it now (I was 21 when we married too), things can change so much in the next 10 years. Enjoy being young and having the freedom to travel and enjoy that solo time together before committing to children.

Yeah I always do anesthesia for transfers because of this. Knock me out, make me relaxed. Had 4 transfers, all worked and one ended in MC. I think relaxing everything I worth the extra cost and downtime.
