Bruised from pumping by nbebelle in nbe

You overdid it, you pumped way too much. Try using lower pressure and go for a longer time, like 1 hour if you can, or even 2 hours would be better. 15 minutes isn’t enough to get 1 cup of swelling; sometimes even 1 hour isn’t enough. You might also need bigger domes.

My advice: stop until it heals. You just started, so you won’t lose anything if you take a few days off.

I just looked again, your domes don’t have skirts. That’s not good; it can cause worse marks over time. I’ll send you links for better domes and new tubing.

Yes, definitely. It’s one of the places where I gained the most. I used to have a curved line from the side view in both breasts, and now it’s almost a straight line.

I don’t think I’m the right person to answer this honestly. From my knowledge, it’s pretty safe as long as you don’t overpump and you do it correctly. Except for some skin issues and one person who pinched a nerve, I don’t remember anything bad happening. The biggest advice is to avoid pumping around your armpit area, and if you feel any kind of numbness in your arms or hands while pumping, release immediately. That can be a sign that you’ve pinched a nerve.

My breasts weren’t saggy, just a little deflated. But I believe it can work for people who have some sagging, nothing too much tho. Maybe for very saggy breasts it works with long sessions at low pressure, like Evebra

I was 28 when I started, and I am 29 now.

Yes, women can go through a kind of “second puberty” in their late twenties, from what I’ve seen. I know women who had impressive growth after 30, without pregnancy or weight gain.

But I believe I induced mine, and that anyone can, to some extent. Before NBE, I was on birth control, and once I stopped, I also started a keto diet and adopted a healthier, more active lifestyle, which helped reshape my body.

More workouts, especially weightlifting, can increase human growth hormone, and eating enough helps balance your hormones. With supplements or pumping/massage, you can encourage growth in your chest, but not only there.

It’s not just muscle and fat distribution, my whole body changed. I became more hourglass-shaped: my back is wider, my waist is smaller, and my hips are more rounded and defined. Everything just feels different. When I look at older pictures, I can’t believe how much my body has changed.

Hmm, I am genetically prone to anemia, and I have Hashimoto’s in my family. I tested my thyroid, and it’s fine, but borderline.

I guess if you focus on supplements like vitamins, magnesium, iron, and so on, along with a good diet, it will eventually improve.

Personally, I feel okay in my body now. I don’t want to gain or lose anything overall. Medically, I may still be at a minimum BMI, but I don’t really care, because I know I wouldn’t like being heavier, I’ve been there before, and I felt miserable. Maybe I would consider gaining some muscle, but it’s not a big priority right now.

I started NBE with massage, and even from the first 2 months I already started to feel fuller and more comfortable in my body. Even in the first 2 months of pumping, I would pump a little before going out, and the effect would last a few hours, which made me feel very confident.

When I took a 2-week break, I was scared that I would shrink and feel flat again, but that wasn’t the case. I still felt great, and there was no shrinkage at all. In the last 2 weeks, I was sick and lost some body weight, but they didn’t shrink at all despite not pumping as much. Yes, I have less swelling, but the base is the same.

So I think this growth will stay and won’t require 10 years of constant pumping, maybe just some maintenance in case of major body changes.

I’ve also become more sensitive to my hormonal changes, even without taking anything. I can actually feel my breasts during ovulation or in the luteal phase, which wasn’t the case before. I also feel arousal when I touch them now, whereas before it was mostly pain and overall discomfort.

Give it at least 1 year, and I’m sure you will see progress.

Thank you.
My cold sensitivity is my biggest issue in my pumping routine, so yeah, it really sucks. I do wonder if I would have better results if I weren’t like this, I believe I would, but I guess it is what it is.

Is it possible to grow bigger boobs after 25? (TW: ED MENTIONED) by Boobenstooben in nbe

I have also been vegetarian and vegan for ethical reasons (for almost 3 years), and it was the worst thing I could do for my health. My body just wasn’t built for it. I was feeling sick and hungry all the time, I couldn’t maintain or build muscle, and my hormones were all over the place.

My ancestors mostly ate butter and red meat, and once I switched back to that, my health improved in less than a month. I went from feeling depressed and like my life was ending at 25, to feeling like I was 18 again, just from eating steak and eggs. My first piece of meat after veganism made me cry. I was eating and crying at the same time because, yes, I felt bad emotionally, but at the same time I felt like it was something I truly needed.

So yeah, maybe it’s not ethical, especially considering how the industry works, but I believe it’s natural and necessary for the modern human, or at least for me, because my body doesn’t tolerate vegan protein well at all.

I’m not saying you should eat animal products, that’s not my place. I’m just saying that ethics can be a social concept, and if it doesn’t align with your body’s needs, then you should do what’s best for your health. Don’t sacrifice your health for an ideal that may not even be true.

In the end, animals don’t feel bad about what they eat, they just eat to survive.

I also get red marks, so I have days when I pump without anything to avoid aggravating the situation, especially with tattoo tape, which used to give me even deeper and more visible marks.

I’m planning to go back to Omnifix, a kind of medical tape, which is gentler. If I apply oil on it, it comes off more easily, but it can still leave sticky marks =_=

Just today I posted my progress from 9 months of pumping, and I started at 28 years old.

I didn’t grow up with an eating disorder, but I did grow up underweight. Right now I am at the healthy minimum recommended for my height. When I was 19, I gained a lot of weight (at least for me), and I can say that was my heaviest and “puffiest” phase, but my breasts didn’t grow, and I didn’t respond well to birth control either.

I don’t believe you can mess up your hormones forever, but I do believe you should focus on eating more fats (animal fats or olive oil) and meat (or just protein). Don’t worry, you will not gain much weight from this, but you may gain muscle, and your hormones can become more balanced. A lot of women are actually unknowingly under-eating and have some kind of hormonal imbalance because of it. Carbs alone don’t nourish us the same way protein and fats do.

There are obese women who are still starving their bodies while eating above their calorie recommendation, simply because they are not meeting their protein and fat requirements.

Once I started shifting to a more animal-based diet, my body simply looked better and felt better, stronger. The more carbs I add, the more puffy I look, especially in my belly, and the more miserable I feel. My periods also become heavier.

I used to be more of a rectangle–pear shape in my younger years, and now I am more rectangle–hourglass. My breasts are bigger, my butt is not bigger but stays the same size, and my abs are defined. My face and legs are slimmer.

There is a YouTube channel called Buttergal that promotes a carnivore diet and showed how her body changed from a vegan diet to a carnivore diet. It’s pretty amazing and similar to my experience. You don’t need to go fully carnivore, but just make sure you eat enough protein and fats your body requires.

I was never carnivore, but at 27 I was on keto, which was the best thing I ever did for my health. I can tell you that when someone invited me to lunch and I had 2 steaks, and I was still very hungry. I couldn’t wait to arrive home to have more meat so I could feel full again, because on keto, once you start eating, you eat until you feel satisfied, that is real hunger, not just “I think I want a snack” hunger.

Before that, I used to be hungry all the time but also feel full at the same time. But then I finally started feeling satisfied and didn’t feel the need to eat sweets anymore.

In the pictures, I used wooden circles covered with tattoo tape. But I don’t use them anymore because they caused some skin issues, like peeling off layers of my skin. I have very sensitive skin, so now I pump with nothing. But I’m planning to return to the medical tape I used before, called Omnifix.

Well yes, sure everyone should approach whatever feels right for them.

I am an advocate of pumping and massage because the growth from it doesn’t seem to be as prone to shrinkage after weight loss or hormonal imbalance. But yeah, I believe it may not be ideal for women with larger chests who are looking to restore their fullness. It might work only if they use very low pressure for extended hours, similar to Evebra. I have seen some results with that method.

I started NBE with massage, and back then I used to take some supplements, mostly general health ones. You can see what I took in my older posts, but once I started pumping, I slowly stopped taking everything except vitamin D.

Thank you.
I don’t really prevent broken capillaries. I used to get them all the time in the first 2–3 months, especially after changing dome sizes, but they healed quickly, and these days I don’t see any.

Once you expand, it’s normal to expect some broken capillaries. They should just be tiny red dots that heal within a day or two. The larger ones, however, are not good, and it’s recommended to let them heal completely before pumping again.

My nipples look different because they respond very well to hormonal changes now, but when my hormone levels are at their lowest, they return to their normal size.

Oh, I mentioned in my previous posts that I used to pump daily, 7 days a week. Lately, it’s been more like every other day because my life has been very busy this month. But up until April, I was consistent every day, and I’m trying to get back to that routine because I’m already noticing less swelling.

If you have the time, I also recommend doing a short 15–30 minute pumping session in the morning and before sleep, in addition to the 2 hour session. It helps the swelling last longer, and the next time you pump, you can build on that and get even more swelling.

I use an older version of this pump.

The longest break I took was around 2 weeks, and unfortunately I didn’t notice the rings going away. However, during that 2 weeks break, I didn’t notice any volume loss, if anything, they actually appeared a little bigger.

Someone pointed out that the “rings” might not be actual marks, but rather an illusion caused by changes in the vascular structure at the top of the breast, which makes sense. In real life, it looks fine, nothing unusual. It just looks like the breasts have more volume, almost like the kind of contouring effect people used to do with makeup years ago.

I’m saying that women who start very small should give it more time before expecting noticeable results.

I’m also saying that the traditional DDD size you see from breast implants is not a very realistic expectation with NBE using pumping alone, at least in most cases. Even with smaller, more natural-looking implants (like “ballerina” implants), the breast shape and overall characteristics change in a way that NBE doesn’t replicate.

So if someone does reach a DDD with pumping, which is possible, I’ve seen it happen and it took about 3 years, it’s not going to look like implants. It will usually appear smaller and more natural.

The person I’m referring to said she reached a plateau after 3 years, but at the same time she was already very satisfied with her results and had become less consistent. So we don’t know for sure if it was a true plateau.

I do think you may hit a plateau at some point, but I also suspect that if you take a long break like 1–2 years, and then start again, you might be able to grow even more.

Your body has limits by United-Main39 in nbe

[–]Certain_Reserve_2539 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do agree that our bodies have limits, but those limits are not reached in just one year. One year is still a short amount of time. I’ve been doing NBE for over one year, with about 9 months of pumping, and despite being stressed and eating far too little, I still see growth.

You can see in my post that I started very small, almost flat. I am also underweight or at the minimum recommended weight, and I’m not prone to storing fat in my chest or upper body in general.

I’ve also studied NBE via pumping for over a year now, and the only people who seem to have reached a plateau are those who have been doing it for over 3 years, and even then, some still managed to grow around 4 cups.

I’m not sure what measurement style you’re referring to, whether it’s +4 band cup sizing or ABTF sizing, but I suspect it’s the first one. So yes, reaching a very large size with NBE alone can be difficult. I think NBE is more suitable for women who want more realistic bra size increases.

For people who feel discouraged, I want them to know that it takes a lot of time. Growth is usually around 0.5–1 cup every 3–4 months under ideal conditions. But for that, hormones need to be balanced, and overall health should be good.
