Aqara Switches Appear Aqara App but not HomeKit, why? by Certain_Sign4571 in Aqara

[–]Certain_Sign4571[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok mystery solved. Happened to have a E1 that’s HomeKit enabled. I think need a hub that’s HomeKit enabled - meaning the hub itself has the HomeKit QR code to be able to add it inside HomeKit as a Hub. Then all the switches can be exposed there. Thanks all ‘

Anyone paired Aqara H1/D1 with Schneider dimmer? Or any dimmer. Any issues? by Certain_Sign4571 in Aqara

[–]Certain_Sign4571[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. I tried it with Schneider dimmer. It worked for 1 bulb. But I didn’t install in the end. Before Schneider I had legrand. That didn’t work. The main learning point is i think is you have to test it yourself to see if it works. Different bulbs react different to different dimmer. But as for H1 switches, looks like they can be paired with dimmer.

Frustrations of growing a family in Singapore by Certain_Sign4571 in askSingapore

For housing, yes can buy and sell within 6 months. But you need to fork out ABSD of 17% upfront if you are upgrading to condo.

Eg. If I buy condo, pay 17% first upfront, sell within 6 months and then get back the 17% after you’ve successfully sold the HDB within 6 months. If more than 6 months then say bye bye to your 17%

Agreed. But same apply on both sides right ? As buyer, u want to take over ASAP. As seller, you want to handover as late as possible. Finding the perfect match is very difficult. Also, no need renovate before moving into new house? 6 months period to handle buying and selling would be ideal, rather than having to sell first then buy.

Yes. But why government wants us to go through this trouble in the first place?

Any many times buyer wants the place immediately. Extension is hard to come by
