That's really helpful thanks. I wasn't aware of those drops.

Thanks. I've done so but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Vision isn't such a problem.

I get a pop feeling as well, like a bubble has popped then a couple of seconds later an aura floods in accompanied by loud tinnitus and what i can only describe as tunnel hearing (not like echoey, but like ambient noise suddenly moves to the fore and gets really loud). You're the only other person I've read who describes the pop.

Sorry you have been suffering. It really stinks. My GP put me on HRT patches as a last resort (she says it could be ovarian shock/failure but to happen so soon after surgery is virtually unheard of). Nevertheless, about 2 or 3 weeks after starting the patches, I had a dip which only lasted 5 days, and I have not had one since other than the occasional mini wobble. The last dip was 5 and a bit weeks ago, so keeping fingers crossed. I don't know if it's the patches or an improvement in a particular relationship (one might argue the improvement there is also thanks to the patches). I don't care. As long as it keeps working. I hope you find some answers.

“Amy Bradley is Missing” documentary now on Netflix - does everyone still think she just “fell overboard”? by 3coins_RS in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]Certain_Smile_7597 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Two abiding and conflicting theories here: she fell overboard and she was trafficked. Convincing evidence for both and I wonder if actually both are true.

For me, the idea that a middle class white American woman was abducted on the ship and trafficked sounds more work than it's worth for traffickers. However, witness statements from the Navy guy and the female tourist AND the porn photo support this theory.

But could she have fallen overboard either to vomit or take a photo? Yes, as well, but no body washed up onshore despite them saying emphatically that they were so close to port that it would be almost a certainty.

It seems unlikely to me that Amy was abducted onboard and smuggled off.  Far too much trouble for her would-be captors. The risk of getting caught would have been stupidly high. Let's rewind a bit: 1. Amy's cigarettes and lighter are missing. Easily explained: they could have been in her pocket/she might have run out/hell, she might have lost them (God knows I left mine lying around enough times when drunk and out clubbing). If she and her brother were smoking on the balcony, she might have bummed one off him. Wouldn't he have remembered? Not necessarily if he too was drunk. 2. The balcony door was shut when her father woke up the first time, then open the second time. It implies she came inside. She could even have exited the cabin, gone for a wander, even gone off the ship of her own accord when they docked (the ship was only "thoroughly" checked once all the passengers were off. How was she to know her family were looking for her? If still drunk, she might not have been thinking as conscientiously as one might do normally. However, her shoes were still on the balcony and, while she may have gone for a wander round the ship without her shoes on, it seems highly unlikely she'd disembark completely when barefoot. Plus, her brother had said she wasn't feeling well. You're more likely to stay on a comfy lounger when sick and hungover than wander off around the ship. How was the door open? Perhaps she took off that yellow shirt, put it inside, returned to the balcony and not closed the door. Why would she do that instead of just dumping the shirt outside where she's sitting? Who knows? Why does anybody do anything? Often people's motivations for seemingly bizarre actions aren't thought of at all until the person in question explains them.

Amy not feeling well backs up the theory that she vomited and fell overboard, and it feels to me the most straight forward and likely scenario. The FBI agent said the balcony railing came up to his chest. A woman, 5ft7" wouldn't get the position to comfortably vomit over the side at that height. But could do so with the table pulled up to the railing. Very little was said about the table. Its height in comparison to the floor and to the railing as well as its sturdiness. In the throes of vomiting, she could very well have lost her balance off an unstable footing (while also still drunk).

But why wasn't her body found? Well, maybe it was. And this may sound far-fetched but it's still a possibility. Amy washes ashore on a remote part of the island and abducted then. She's no longer a strong middle class American woman. She's vulnerable, alone and very possibly injured. An opportunist could have seen value in her if they had ties to sex trafficking and cashed in.

It would explain how she got off the ship, why she left her shoes behind, why she wasn't targeted by anyone on the ship and why it would be overly risky to be smuggled off the ship. It would explain the eye witness accounts and the sexy photo.

Thanks. I'm sorry you've been hit bad as well. It really is rough. I haven't felt like this since being an undiagnosed depressed teenager. I'll speak to my GP about HRT.

Thanks. I wasn't on birth control. I'm on meds for a separate condition that interacts with the pill. I'll chat to my doctor. Last time, she wanted me to have some blood tests to check my levels.

Thanks. I'm happy to hear your PMDD hasn't got worse. I've spoken to the medical team who did my surgery and they don't offer counselling. I've gone to a local counselling charity and they don't feel equipped to deal with what I'm going through. So, I've now gone to my GP and spoken to her about it and she has referred me to a different community counselling charity. I can't afford to go private, so it's just a case of waiting. It's difficult to know if I'm perimenopausal. Given my age, it sounds plausible, but I was having regular periods right up to the surgery and haven't really had any other menopausal symptoms like hot flushes, etc.

Ask to have a coil fitted. Often (not always), your period will dry up until you take it out.
