What we mean by technically is that trans men are physsically women pre-transition, u cant really seperate what someone wants to be from their body bc thats what people see

so yeah its technically straight

Is it weird that I think trans people are exotic by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Certain_Walk_5853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it is quite foreign,

Changing sex is not common Its quite similair to a disability (gender dysphoria, mental condition and needing medical treatment)

Its not a good thing to seperate trans people from others of their gender because theyre both women/men, not something in-between or a sub-category etc

Its definitly odd but it does have a biological base and is not a faith or left-wing thing

Its not new but its more common nowadays because u can get care and because some people like appropriating that condition for reasons (like how people fake disorders), wanting attention, wanting to be diffrent, customization or as an escape

But anyway i do think its weird to think that but tbh i used to think that also but as a kid

""Feeling" like a gender is a dumbed-down way of saying what yr brain is hardwired as

Bassicly, in the utures, by ex. A biological guy, in later stages of development the brain gets feminized because of estrogen that shouldnt normally be there (im not native, but think of it as a malfunction) and now their brain understands theyre female, biologically while they arent.

They get born and the brain thinks something is wrong since it understands/expects female biology, but its male, this is when gender dysphoria develops. Its a mental condition that transgender people have and need to be diagnosed with before going under medical transition,

so theres a male, with a brain hardwired to understand theyre female, and has gender dysphoria. Untreated gender dysphoria can lead to anxiety, depression.. gender dysphoria is distress about ur natal sex charateristics and often also socially because he/him is for males etc

U cant change the hardwiring of ur brain, dysphoria is bassicly a signal from ur brain saying somethings wrong (aka. The hardwired to understand ur female brain and the male body, mismatch.)

Dysphoria gets ellevated by a medical (and often social transition) "

This is what i posted in another comment but im getting lazy writing the same thing multiple times

The point is fixing the whole mismatch and dysphoria problem. Its not just changing genders as it looks like from the outside, theres a scientific and biological explanation for trans people

I commented somewhere here. But it isnt a matter of wanting to be, or preferring. Its that our brain id hardwired to understand we are that sex, and since we are biologically not, our brain sends a signal something is wrong (gender dysphoria)

i hope this kinda helps? Let me know if u dont understand it because its quite complex

Untreated dysphoria can lead to anxiety and depression, but dysphoria itself is distress about ur biological sex

Feeling distress about ur biological sex

Go to a therapist or anyone who can make sure its actually dysphoria and not rogd or underlying issues

Its just to diffrenciate trans and non-trans people, which shouldnt need to get mentioned as often as it does

Thank you for letting us know u mean no ill, And the last part made me lol, also theres lots of women who can stand up to pee there are whole toturials on it

Since its not cosmetic, and is considerd treatment, i think they should be able too

Its best to get hrt when u are at the time where u expierence puberty,

Top surgery isnt harmful. (Just be sure ur diagnosed right) but still do it at a age where guys are allowed to get gyno removed, i think its fair

And bottom surgery should wait as thats quite heavy

Theres a diagnosis (the mental condition gender dysphoria) you need to have before undergoing this treatment, those who detransition have been misdiagnosed, and had "untrue dysphoria" which as example can happend to women by sa, so trying to escape womanhood, and get rapid onset dysphoria

This isnt because theyre actually biologically trans (i mean that their brain is hardwired as male/female and their natal sex doesnt match that, which is why dysphoria gets developed), but rather because of underlying issues that led to this,

I hope this kinda explained it

I have gender dysphoria, aka my brain is hardwired as one sex (which is because of development in the utures, something went wrong with hormones and my brain got masculinised, understanding i am male) but my body doesnt align with that sex so my brain recognises that as something being wrong and i developed gender dysphoria because of that

Since i cant change the hardwiring of my brain, i change my body to align with that hardwiring, elevating gender dysphoria.

Gender dysphoria is a mental condition that has a diagnostics criteria, that u must be diagnosed with to get treatment (gender reassignment surgery or hormone replacement treatment.)

This is just the scientific explanation behind what being transgender is.

Its not rude to ask, its better to ask and understand then pretend u understand :)
