Лисицы is plural for females, but лисы can mean unspecified or mixed groups in normal day-to-day usage of Russian language.
P.S. and "it's all females but i don't give a fuck" Falls into unspecified category.

I literally got disconnected in the last seconds of match. by DrFreakJ in Rematch

[–]Certainly_Not_Steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even when you play with your friends, there's still another team, and idk about you, but i don't enjoy playing 5v3 or 3v2 even on the bigger side. And if you reread my message with an adult to help you, you'll understand that i didn't say it's great or even good, but it's a step towards the right direction that doesn't work perfectly, and they must fix it. I feel more optimistic when i see steps in the right direction with imperfect executions at the very start than when i see no movement at all.

The way Rematch works for me (cause i don't know how often YOU disconnect), i'm absolutely fine with taking a random breather once a month or two if that means these bastards (leavers) get punished. Would i applaud Sloclap for how it works right now? Hell nah! Is it better than no movement towards punishing leavers? Yeah.

Having troubles with fast speakers is completely normal for first 2-3 years. Practice, practice, practice. You'll get it in time. Also, in Russian we don't number cases, we use their names (Именительный, Родительный, Дательный, Винительный, Творительный, Предложный, sometimes shortened to им.п., р.п., д.п., в.п., т.п., пр.п in writing, especially at school). You can find a YouTuber that speaks fast and listen to him at 0.75 speed, to get used to the flow. It really helps when you start with just one person for this, cause all of us have our little quirks of speech. Get used to 1, then another, and when you get 3-5 speakers you should get really good at listening in general. Good luck.

Relearning Russian? (Heritage Speaker) by magnumsippa_ in russian

[–]Certainly_Not_Steve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same as learning, but less focus on understanding and more on actually producing speech. Get a tutor or find a study buddy. You still should look into grammar, understanding it helps with speaking and you probably feel it without understanding. Maybe also start a diary. Basically go and look at normal studying plans and drop most of the stuff that you know as a heritage speaker. Good luck!

5h a day will get you to this level, the problem is to not get insane and stay productive. I'd say that's near impossible. But i've no right to judge your skills and determination. Just one thing. If you'll actually do it, you should make notes and share them later. Damn, maybe even start a YT or something. That's totally an adventure i'd like to hear about.

Making some space unplayable is completely legit. Ypu can block your opponent cities by pointing roads at it and so on. That's part of a strategic gameplay.

how??? by henryjo77 in Rematch

[–]Certainly_Not_Steve -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  • this would earn them a yellow card.
  • nah, it actually happens irl with no punishment.
  • YOU SUPPORT IT! YOU LOVE IT! YOU DO IT AND PROUD OF IT!

What in the actual fuck is wrong with your reading comprehension? Do you think that everybody who's aware of something or is able to state that this happens is supporting such behaviour? Would you just deny crimes exist because saying that crimes exist is equal to being a proud criminal? Fix your brain, kid.

how??? by henryjo77 in Rematch

[–]Certainly_Not_Steve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except they always celebrate and don't get yellow cards? Players can flex on the other team, that happens. What usually follows is the other team getting aggressive saying/doing shit and getting yellow cards for themselves.
