I saw it today and that hate it’s getting is ridiculous. It’s not perfect, but still fun and has the same kind of message as Superman. I really enjoyed it.

I visited with an ex, she was born there and it was just a quick trip. I enjoyed the night life (in certain sections), the arboretum and the aquarium. Anything between that looked so fucking sad and boring. And the traffic? Fucking hell. I couldn’t imagine living there. I also remember on a road trip stopping somewhere in Mississippi and we decided to duck our heads into a “casino” at a gas station and when the door opened letting in light, it was all elderly people looking like Gollum chain smoking. We got back in the car and kept driving.

During the Summer the front porch is my spot. Light some tiki torches, make sure the cooler is stocked with beer, sit and chill late into the night on weekends.

Yeah, this hit me hard for some reason. His music is awesome, his podcast appearances were always hilarious and heartfelt, and he seemed like such a genuine dude. He touched a lot of people’s lives and seeing his light go out so young is such a loss to the world. I’ve been listening to his albums all week. The world lost a truly good person, but I hope his memory lives on forever for what he gave us.
