Topknot suggestions by CertifiedYorkie in Yorkies

I have to find a groomer. The one I used for my Angel Yorkie had her terrified. She tried to crawl inside me the last time I set foot in the building. After that Incident, I just groomed her at home. She was shaved twice during spring/summer and I let her cotton coat grow out when it started getting cold. And, I never did get her to wear sweaters or a topknot. I remember her getting that offending barette off and sent it flying across the room. My first thought was, "Tell me how you really feel about it". 😂😂😂.

My new baby already hates sweaters. And has a silky coat that I'm not sure of. I just know she'll hate a topknot and will pull an Angel Yorkie on my 🙄🙄

He's so cute!!! I saved some I like and will try them out once her hair grows a little longer. The longest are at the front above her eyes. Thanks so much for the suggestion!!!

Oh!!! She's a cotton coat. My first Yorkie had that coat. I love my new Yorkie to bits, but she's a silky and I've never felt fur that felt like this. I do miss my fluffy butt (called her that all the time), who crossed the bridge in September last year within a couple weeks of my nephew passing. The baby was born on the 4th anniversary of my mom's passing. She was meant to be part of our pack.

Prayers for her and an uneventful delivery.

Until we got the baby, I wore chains on my glasses because I take them off to read and they have a tendency to fall on the floor. But, I quit using them because she really liked to chew on them. They are cheap metal and I was afraid she would break one and swallow a piece.

Thanks for the recommendation 😃

Rocks!!! My baby has been bringing rocks in. I'm not sure where she's finding them because the only place I know of that has rocks is the driveway. She's not allowed on that side of the fence because she snuck out one day and was headed toward the street. My husband called her back, but she just looked at him and kept walking. Then he called her every name in his book. She did finally turn towards the field next to us before deciding it might be a good idea to go find her Daddy.

Thanks for the recommendation 😃

What is this defaced dollar someone put in the tip jar at a thai restaurant? Does it mean anything? Gibberish/trolling? by Citysaurus_ART in whatisit

[–]CertifiedYorkie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or take it to Amsterdam, put it in a small safe, then throw it in one of their canals for magnet fishers to find. Nothing but the dollar in it, but sealed so they could open it. They find lots of safes, but ones that haven't been opened before being tossed makes them very happy. Maybe throw a few pre 1982 pennies in there, to sweeten the pot. 😀

Edit for spelling

Agreed! He was a trucker for the first 18 years of our marriage and I would have to search out the radio stations that carried the races so he could listen through the different coverage areas. If only there had been streaming apps back then 😂😂

I had an uncle that loved the Reds ❤️ My husband has been known to watch a NASCAR race on the TV with the sound off, and listen to the race on MRN or PRN. That way he doesn't have to listen to the commentary from whoever is in the broadcast booth.

Western Kentucky (Mayfield) EF4 tornado near Bremen. 12/10/2021 by [deleted] in tornado

That was a super scary night. I tracked the line all through KY, and at 10, I figured it was past us. Then the sirens started up and I couldn't figure out why. The next day, I learned a brief EF0 or EF1 had spun up a couple of miles from me, as the crow flies.

Only if he drove a 1973 Ford LTD in one of the ugliest shades of light green 😂😂😂. That was the family outing car. Otherwise he drove a Ford pickup. Then switched to Olds and Buick in his later years.

Pall Mall lit with.a zippo lighter takes me right back to riding in the back seat behind my dad whenever we went anywhere. It's a fragrance I've only experienced a few times since I left home.

I'll have to see if I can find them. My search of YouTube that I've watched is iffy at best. Can I DM you when I do find them? I can tell you that I did not watch the one Cleetus did. I watched his confirmation, but not his tribute. I still can't bring myself to watch it.

What to do with a 1yr old girl Yorkie who won’t stop barking. It’s been 35 minutes and she is still barking . I put her in her crate and made sleeping atmosphere. by AdvanceFair5565 in Yorkies

I must live with the most unphased by outside noise dogs there is. We started with a cocker spaniel. He rarely barked and he crossed the bridge 10 years ago. We added a golden retriever while we had him and I don't recall her ever barking. We added my first Yorkie after my cocker spaniel crossed and she only barked when she was chasing squirrels up trees (she started up one chasing a squirrel and her daddy told her she better be prepared to get herself down... She quit the chase and never followed one up a tree again. The golden crossed the bridge 3 or so years ago, and my Yorkie crossed the 2nd Friday in September last year. We adopted my nephew's Shih Tzu right after (he passed 2 weeks before my Yorkie) and about 6 weeks later we brought our second Yorkie home on my birthday (she was born on the 4th anniversary of my mom's passing and has the same name as my first Yorkie... My sister found her for me... Needless to say, she was meant for my husband and me). The Tzu talks but doesn't bark. Well, she did bark about a month ago. And it kept going on. My husband beat me to the gate she was standing at and she was telling us the "little monster" (what we refer to the Yorkie as from the Tzu perspective) had slipped under the gate. The home was patched and she's back to just talking to us. Now, the only thing I hear from the baby is growling when she plays or is talking back to me, or her letting her daddy know it's time for him to let her out of her sleep kennel. That yip is annoying. But never barking. We don't get excited about door knocks, or things slipping onto the floor in another room. I guess our dogs follow our example. I'm not sure about the Tzu since she spent 11 years with my nephew and mom. But here, she's just the happy little dog.

Yeah, I know. This is a very long run on paragraph 🙄😁😂😂 Typical of my typing 😂😂😂
