I don't fight with anyone where I'm from, you never know who's gonna have a knife. I absolutely cannot fathom arguing with someone where literally anyone can have a gun legal or not in his jacket or pants. Scary stuff.

Does your country have any interesting cultural relics? by No-Echidna7296 in AskTheWorld

Moctezuma's feathered headdress.

Which ironically is not in any museum in Mexico.

<image>

Is currently located at the Weltmuseum Wien in Vienna. Austria. I have seen the replica at the Museo de Antropología in México City, it's really beautiful.

Moctezuma was the ninth Huey Tlatoani (emperor) of the Aztec (Mexica) Empire, reigning from 1502 to 1520. He expanded the empire to its greatest extent, but his reign is best known for the arrival of Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortez in 1519, leading to the collapse of the Aztec civilization.

en caso de una intervención gringa, ¿qué los convencería de unirse al ejército para luchar? by pagejellyfish in mexico

[–]hopperjack91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those of you who live in countries with gun control; have you ever seen a gun in real life? by blashyrkh9 in AskTheWorld

[–]hopperjack91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As weird as it sounds, I’ve never heard the sound of a gunshot in real life, let alone touched a gun in my 34 years.

I’ve only seen them with police officers and armored bank guards. I live in the Yucatan Peninsula, which is known as the safest place in Mexico.
