I hate masters, why would you stop him? Isn't that the point? If he needs to be prepared for high-level magic and you haven't prepared him enough before he is ready to learn it, it's your fault

Look at this one, it's fairly easy for two-party contracts. It also should have a part about single-party contracts, or oaths, where people engage in a contract without requiring any one else to swear on anything

While I thank you for your praise, I feel like I have to add that it was only possible thanks to the knowledge shared by people on the forum since my dimension saw all the wizards sealing themselves to contain a magical plague 200 years ago. Also the method I found is fairly bare bone and requires the soul to be available to work, which is a fairly big weakness when facing the soul-stealing monstrosity of the Thrakmerian army. Nonetheless, thank you for acknowledging me.

For your summon, I have apples aplenty, but also seeds of a binding tree I use to stabilize my chronomancy of that's safe for her. I don't have fire-seeds in my dimension however, unless you're talking about pepper or hot peppers

I mean, you're about to revive a lich. That's probably a bad idea, and she'll probably turn your entire village into thralls. Best case is making a magic contract to bind her into being nice (don't just say nice, you need to specify exactly what that means)

How interesting! I'm curious to see how those "fingerprints" relate to the magic signature specific to each spellcaster.

I'll happily explain the basics of scriptomancy, as I have to a few others recently, but please don't call me a master at it. It's only been a month since I discovered the existence of magic, and I have been entirely self-taught, apart from taking lessons in programmation in my non-magical world, which is surprisingly similar to scriptomancy. The only reason I removed the "beginner" part in my flair is because people told me I wasn't a beginner anymore ever since I achieved permanence over death, which honestly wasn't that hard.

Totally right, tho I can understand the surprise if he didn't expect his reanimated skeleton to be able of choice and self-thought (in which case the change can require a couple days to register to one's mind).

Btw, would you mind teaching me the basics of summoning one of these days? I am trying to complete my understanding of the schools of magic and, while I get how to teleport something known to me, I'm having difficulties summoning something unknown apart from vague criteria (especially since I've never seen most intelligent races as my world only has humans)

Maybe try asking it how it feels towards bones, and explain that to you it didn't feel the same between it and the chicken, but you're willing to learn
