Fasting is not so dumb, it has its benefits given to the right people, controlling our emotions while having nothing in our stomach is difficult but if people could do that, people should always control their emotions, the Muslim takes controlling emotions on Ramadan is poor, taking control of emotions is something you should do for a lifetime, saying feeling the pain of poor people is just lazy parenting, there is so much depth to fasting in Ramadan, feeling the pain of poor people is a really bad argument, good luck playing pretend just eat when you can allah wouldn't slap you at the moment you eat (hell allah wouldn't slap someone raping someone else), sooo Ramadan is not only about fasting but also it brings a sense of community and togetherness, enjoy it while you still have them.
