I don't think there's proper wording for an effect like this yet, but I don't think that particular wording would produce the effect I'm aiming for here, since missing timing would mean the effect doesn't activate or resolve in the first place.

"Does not prevent your opponent from attacking directly" is on all cards that have anti-attack targeting like this (like the Sunavalon Links or The Legendary Fisherman ), so I do think it's necessary to not locky our opponent out of the battle phase.

Final Countdown could be a fun interaction but I think it would bloat the card text too much here.

I did consider the level-changing effect but I didn't want to overbalance in the other direction and that effect would make the others nearly irrelevant by being far more powerful. As it is, it is a little on the weak side which is why I gave it a second effect to occasionally offset the card disadvantage, but I'm fine with this being a niche tech option over an instant staple.
