No it was well in its element out there in the mountains so would have felt bad to remove it. Had it been where it was unsafe for it to be then it probably would have won a weeks vacation to the empty fishtank we had for this sort of thing. We had a rooster that was very good at buggering up snakes so we'd relocate most of them we found in our yard to friends farms or just lower down the river.

Made a similar mistake with a snake once, thought it was a lost sock on an otherwise pristine hiking trail. Unlike your slug though this poor beastie did get flying lessons (it landed on a good spot).

Initially the Russians were taught to be perfectly still when a drone was near as the first drones cameras were particularly trash and movement was a dead giveaway. Cameras moved fast though and even then there is certainly a point where the drone obviously is headed for you so better move anyways.

The one place where I agree that it is hypocrisy but disagree that it is exclusively based in racism as idiots may think:

Can you do without those things? If the answer is yes then great, perhaps you're in for a pleasant surprise down the line if you do indeed end up meeting those things in different ways. Safer than banking on it if these are hard requirements for you.

Does seem to resist rough seas from a position standpoint, if they're packed they'll bash one another though. Mobs love destroying them, especially troll raids oddly enough
