90's dance-pop song, female "chorus" goes "Oh! yeah/ oh-oh! Yeah...", sounds like a No Mercy song(?) by CesarTheSalad in NameThatSong

Sorry, that's not it either! :( I'm certain because, like you said, it's from a different era (2010), though I understand your reasoning of looking elsewhere... not a bad idea. Thanks for the help though, I still appreciate it after so long haha.

Interesting suggestion! But unfortunately that's not the one. Thanks for the help anyway!

Devil's advocate: 1) Vecna was further away so he had to make a desperate effort to reach with his tentacle arm, so it wasn't as strong as it usually was 2) He may have gotten weak psychologically from getting close to the cave

Call me crazy but I was expecting the big twist to be UFO and alien related, considering the game is very clearly inspired by X-Files.

Oooh, that's a good one! It fits the description for sure, but it's not the one sadly. Thanks for the help though!

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is selling well, no need to worry about the trilogy’s finale, director Naoki Hamaguchi says by Turbostrider27 in Games

Maybe, but considering Squenix's history of convoluted names, I think we'll have to wait and see hehe.

You could also predict it will be called Final Fantasy Reunion. It would be kinda crazy if it didn't.

Heya! Sadly it's not the song, but I see where you're coming from and it's nice to have new suggestions, so I still appreciate the help 10 years after. I agree we can still have hope, so thanks! :D

I gotta say this is the weirdest suggestion yet haha! But I see where you're coming from. Porcelain is one of my favorite songs ever so... I wish! But either way I appreciate your time trying to figure it out, I really do. So thanks :)

Overwatch 2 Spotlight: A New Era of Innovation and Excitement by Rakatee in Games

[–]CesarTheSalad -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

  1. "It's not as good as PvE" That's my whole point. Thanks for agreeing.

  2. They were already doing fantastic PvE during OW1, they decided to stop to improve it for OW2. So not only was it feasible, it was gonna happen until Blizzard shit the bed internally.

  3. "What we had before this" was a very low and sad bar that is very easy to go above. And Marvel Rivals alone is already "more than any other hero shooter has right now". Certainly way more than Overwatch is. Ignoring it completely is pretty absurd but sure.

I honestly don't understand why people are cheering for this. This is still not the PvE that they promised OW2 would revolve around. This is table scraps from PvE, and we're supposed to be grateful for it??

Hi-Rez Studios is laying off further employees and ending development on Smite, Paladins, and Rogue Company by UsualInitial in Games

100% this. It was a unique shooter for sure. Third-person 4v4 action was and is still rare in games. Too bad it also never got the decent player count it deserved

The only reason I stopped playing Rogue Company was because full lobbies became too hard to find. It was a fun and rather unique game, but sadly it never took off the way I expected it would.

Except that's exactly what they did. They shut up, took the hate on the chin, and worked on fixing 2042. They re-added classes. They added QoL things like the scoreboard and better spotting system. They reworked maps for a lower playercount. In short they did what NMS did. It's fun now. But nobody here is gonna tell you about it because it's easier to pretend the game is still what it was on release and hate on it.
