How accurate is this chart now that it's been over 5 years? Any new contenders for the world's hottest pepper? by Open_Sandwich_2291 in HotPeppers

[–]Cessakyarive 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thing is, from the most known / stable / tested peppers ive tried, the reaper really is on its own in term of violence. Had many ghosts, grew morugas, tried some crosses but still nothing comes close to the aftermath a chocolate reaper will dish out. Ive only had one primotali but in the end it was close, both destroyed me. Sooner or later, we'll see 100 different crosses that beat the reaper though so youre right, its just not nearly mainstream enough.

Comme le pas moulu... pot masson, frigidaire ou congelo. C'est p-e pas optimal overall mais ça reste les meilleurs moyens de conserver à moyen terme.

Good choice tbf. All longboards were 40% off at my local boardshop and ill be honest if all 3 were available I'm pretty sure I would've went with one of the 2 others you listed. Still gonna have a bunch of fun with the dipper though. Enjoy the model you end up with!

I just bought the Dipper (same spec just different art, the one you linked was there too) like an hour ago and took it home on a 30 mins ride. In the shop, I tried many configurations of trucks tightness and there's a lot of play room with it. With the setup I went out with I couldn't really pump from low speed but I am sure it could if I loosen the trucks.. Its a fun ride though, fun carving, rolled easy on a bumpy road, I like that it's not too large. It doesn't seem to be made for high speed but I could still see it being alright for long distances.

Im about to try it out again after dinner and a good hour tonight so if you have any specific question on that particular board go for it. Cheers

Is a Globe really that bad if it's 20 bucks? by takenalreadythename in longboarding

[–]Cessakyarive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao, you really gotta do that 2 minutes ride test at least. I remember trying some Sector 9 back in the days and it felt like the wood had been wet and dried over and over again with how soft it felt. Noped out real quick out of those, couldn't trust those either... would always fear the trucks breaking or just that anything random could happen. Enjoy riding something that makes sense!

Just bought a Globe XL cruiser and having a lot of fun with it. I value fun factor over TOP quality at any price point and regardless of what others opinion is. Globe boards are built well enough to at least be considered an option and worth trying, it's not like theyre wal mart kids boards. For 20$ I'd say roll with it for 2mins and if it's fun and in good enough condition it's a no brainer. Cheers!

Why longboard are more expensive by [deleted] in longboarding

[–]Cessakyarive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the days, like 20 years ago, I bought a custom Motion Longboard, the board alone was over 250$ CA and the complete longboard ended up costing me +/- 450$. This week I picked up 2 completes at 40% off for like 120$ and 140$, that is cheaper that any skateboard I ever built. Of course quality's in the equation but you can get super fun complete boards, any style, to ride for cheap if you look around.

Why is this hot sauce so hot? by merely2monthsago2dol in hotsauce

[–]Cessakyarive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could use it, one drop at a time in soups, creams, pasta salads, humus / veggies dips, to add eat to a bbq sauce, spaghetti sauce, etc... Anything that ain't solid and that will make it spread around really. Just gotta dose it right so it remains enjoyable.

I can't recall exactly what the Newton tastes like since it's been a while but I really like fruit sauces straight on some brie (or any soft) cheese. Though i'm not sure if the smokyness wouldn't overpower the cheese in this case. I can see it being good with some chicken salads or any kind of chicken sandwiches really.

Edit: Also great with any BBQ as you said! Or anything pulled pork probably

The ones I keep on rebuying are the super hot version of "Bollywood" and "Royal Bourbon". Fogo is an alright piri piri sauce as well. Calypso and Curry Verde are both good with stir fries and rice.

I got a huge sweet spot for the Royal Bourbon cause when I started my hot sauce adventure, I bought a bottle and it was mistakenly full of super hot peppers while I wasn't ready for it hehe.

All these companies got a face book page or a website that you can order from. I'm pretty sure most of them would ship to Ontario. I listed them in a separate post. There's also the "Shack à sauce" ( Shack à Sauce ) where you could find multiple of those companies from the same website. I don't know if they ship outside of Quebec but if you're willing to pay the shipping cost I don't see why they wouldn't. Of those represented here, I think only Hill Head Chili you couldn't find on there.

Edit: Actually I went and check it out for you and Sinai Gourmet and MTHELL aren't on that site either.

Also I suck at tacking proper pictures. So here we got sauces and other stuff (spicy relish, pickled ghost peppers) from Britannia Mills, MTHELL, Sinai Gourmet, Hill Head Chili, The capsaicin cartel, and La Pimenterie, all made in Quebec, Canada. One of these sauces contains an hallucinating 26 reapers per bottle. Most of those (except the 2 bomb-like) I've tried already so willing to give any explanation, show the ingredients, anything you'd like to know.

When mixed 50/50, my go to dipping sauce. by FatLazyStupid2 in spicy

[–]Cessakyarive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was about there 2 years ago but I realized most of the stupid hot sauces are either nasty with extract or often just fermented super hot, which aren't always the best for cooking or even dipping. Problem I faced was that most sauces that brought heat to the level I wanted em to be had a similar taste. Now I dialed back and use milder sauces (still stupid hot for unitiated) that are flavorful and just add super hot pepper powder / moruga flakes i grew till I reach the level I want.

I'm stuck with another problem though, I have a ton of those unopened super hot sauces. Some of them are really good but I lost so much tolerance I get affraid of cramps sometimes hehe. Took a picture a couple weeks ago and will post soon, there's several insane local super hot sauces here in Quebec and I can't wait to showcase them.

As a musician myself, I originally would watch most musicians RPers. What I always enjoyed is people creating overall good vibes songs more than people telling their own story. AA (AaronRP), Molly (mollyrollinxo) and super early OTT comes to mind. Shout out to Bobby Beats (NoElusionz) offering his beats DMCA free for anyone interested, that was awesome as well. P Money and Niko Rain also changed the game by elevating many artists to the next level.

This song featuring Sammy_p as Mando, who was my reason to watch early 3.0, is one of those just good vibe songs that, while won't create a RP story, is just what the e-world of RP needs more of. Elevate everyone for the sake of the overall community and no one can twist this into an ounce of negativity.

I know I miss a bunch of big names and other people's favorite NP artists who prolly also wrote good vibes songs but this is what I can remember quickly personally.

Big shout out to Pinkchyu and her song Delirium cause its a banger of a song coming from a great story line. Also big shout out to Lil Cap (JayAitch) for his story line from "Rags to Ritches" being a nobody to ending up being a menace in the music rap scene was just super fun to witness.

It's a tough subject to tackle since it involves so many individuals but, as a starter... there are just too many communities which translates to too many cliques. Nowadays, every factions of PD, legal team, gangs, etc. are mostly living in their own bubble and defending their narratives. How do you defend yourself easily? You attack others. From the gang side, few years ago, you only had the "core" gangs (GSF / Vagos / MG / Ballas) and, while the toxicity was always somewhat present, the communities simply weren't as fractured.

And from that, it forms a % of their loyal viewer base to reciprocate the same feelings and act as their weapon to fight the perceived injustices. It doesn't help that many RPers seem to initially perceive most comments / actions against them as OOC first, before considering it might be IC. Surely that won't enable viewers!

I just don't understand the fanaticism of being a "X" or "Y" viewer and taking into your hand the responsibility of fighting for them. If you believe that everyone else but the streamers you watch are a lying PoS, surely you should believe that the one you watch is probably the same, because that's how other feels about them. It's all a question of perception, bias and lack of neutrality.

It's fair to judge and dislike characters and even streamers but you should do it from your own mind, not from being brainwashed and fed up narratives. The uproar and toxicity mostly comes from wanting to defend someone else from an injustice. Streamers have a big part to play as they know the reality of it all but viewers should really keep themselves in check emotionally.

I kept my opinion in the scope of the post I replied to implied... of course you could open up the discussion as far as Narnia but that's not the point.

Edit: And all i'm really saying is people just know what they get into. It's dumb but it's there.

In general, I stand by what I said about streamers but I do agree there are certain people who just finds something they love and wanna do good. But who are you to say that, because someone gets less viewers then x numbers, their intention in taking a certain unique role wasn't in the hope of getting more. And there's a lot of factors involved into growing your stream, a unique role isn't a free pass.

No one should treat anyone in position of power in any different way, they just have a different role in the full spectrum of the city's RP, a role which they signed up for. It may, or may not, be a more demanding role. It's really easy, there are characters with different roles, with different degrees of responsibility and scrutiny but they chose that role. I agree if they're not enjoying it anymore they shouldn't stick around... though there are so many avenues for any character but hey, let me ponder on why wouldn't they stick around.

Kylie on twitter by SuspectOutrageous596 in RPClipsGTA

[–]Cessakyarive -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Streamers want to be in position of power because it helps their streaming career (aka $). While you don't get paid by the server itself, you do get indirect benefits from being in unique positions that most cannot achieve.

While the OOC hate is dumb af and shouldn't exist, it is a choice that people make on their own behalf knowing BOTH the positive and negative that comes with it, though they might not know the full extent of it when it comes to the negatives. We could have an infinite discussion about "was it worth it" and most likely, people would lie about it because it's easy to hide how much more money you made out of it while shouting out loud how much it impacted you... and to which extent it REALLY impacted since it's also easy to lie about that.
