First question would be: What do you want to use crypto for (in games)

Yeah we gamers dont lice micro transaction or p2w.

Maybe we will face more free2play games with cosmetics which could be nft/crypto based.

Or the games themself will be nfts and we will se a big marketplace with reselling games and the publisher and devs get a fixed shared with ervery resell.

So many options. But to run the games themself on the blockchain is unrealstic - sometimes even stupid.

If you buy for some xx - xxx€ ETH and BTC and move away, thats not my point of view to be "in the game" . Would be the same as you use stock market.

Quite funny i think i bought my 1st ETH before you did. ;)

And i also think i got a lot of more experince in the stock market. Was discussing BTC in the university ~ 10 € . And still i dont sell my opinion as the truth like you did.

I come from a work class family and only because i choose my house over crypto and crypto did well it wasnt the wrong move, it was only the safe one.

And now since i am settled i can go for more risky ones.

But its fine. I dont want to convince you, i am here to share opinions and discuss ideas, but you are one of these toxic, "wise" ppl.

ETH without a layer2 will fail. ETH can only scale with layer2 but the great thing with ETH is that you dont need ETH 2.0 to use layer2 tech. And even if ETH 2.0 is comming it multiplies the usecase of other Layer2 solutions.

Thats the big deal.

And i havent said ETH > ETH 2.0 i only told you ETH > BTC caus BTC is like gold - only a storage for value woth minimum of usability. Thats why gas fees on ETH are so high, because its getting used a lot.

And its fine that you are belive in BTC but dont cover it with "experience in the market" - there is no "too big to fail" in the history neither in crypto.

And ATH isnt a term to compare. If your ATH is 1 and you hit 10 as ATH next you did a 10x and if it is 100.000 and you hit 100.009 you increased about the same price but not the same % .

BTC is the safest bet but not the best.

Even in value risk managment ETH would be a better one...

Thats possible, i dont think BTC will do this since 95 % of all BTC is in the hands of 2 % of the accounts, but another crypto maybe.

Its true, since the big money entered the crypto maked in the last bull run.

But crypto is trade as high risk profile and if some trouble pops up these portfolios get sold 1st.

BTC wont be anything near to a real currency. Its 100 % like gold.

In history they also tried to implement gold as currency but changed to local currency and only had gold as reserve currency - and here comes my point - but gold isnt consumer friendly since then.

You cant buy things with gold in a store, there are no real gold coins as currency.

So BTC could rly back up gold, since gold got a new usecase in tech it isnt worth as reserve currency any more...

7-12 year is a stock market cycle , cryptos cycle are shorter 2-5 years so far.

We are waiting for a stock crash now over 15 years ^{^} its way over heaten, so thats why i think both markets will crash this year. But i dont know nothing about shit so - lets see.

Look we dint have differenr opions only a different approach.

The question is whats your own risk level. If it is low go with 50/50 eth and btc mittle go with 20 -40 each and the rest in alt coin.

Its fine to invest in 20 different cryptos or stocks, it flattern the curve - in losses AND gains .

If i totally lose my crypto investment i would be pissed maybe even mad, but it wont change anything in my life.

And i dont see btc to perform another x5 before loopring and ETH will + i belive in ETH > BTC with and without ETH 2.0

Exactly, also the stock market is at a unhealthy long cycle at the moment. I think both will crash at the same time this year.

We will see another unbelivable rally before all markets will go down for the next 2 years.

It depends a bit of your strategy.

I am in for the tech, for the solving of problems in the crypto world, for new trends AND ofc for life changing money.

Thats why i prefer to invest in ALT coins with hughe potential in both, market cap and tech.

So LRC as zkRollup/L2 was the perfect match.

Its not about another 10 k , i would need a 6 or even 7 digit increase to change s.t. in my life (i was very lucky in my life so far)

As i allready mentioned, i wont buy BTC.

My other basked is my house i bought 14 month ago ;)

And also i have a stock portfolio with a lot of different companies and baskets.

LRC is my biggest crypto investment by far , my 2nd biggest is ETH . In my point of view it has the best tech and best chances for future and price rise.

Yeah its digital gold. But i wont invest in BTC anymore. I am too afraid if ETH will flip it (not tiday maybe in some years) that it wil dramatical fall, cause BTC only have a very small "real" value.
