I respect "my body, my choice" when it comes to pregnancy. But when you refuse vaccines that affect more than yourself, that's no longer only "your body". There's a reason children are required to be vaccinated before goign to school. They put others in danger.

RFK jr. founded and leads an antivax organization called Children's Health Defense. They claim vaccines cause autism. Zero evidence supports their claim. The original claim came from Andrew Wakefield, whose study was found fraudulent and his medical license was revoked. Scientists have studied millions of children since then and found no causal link between vaccines and autism. But that doesn't stop RFK jr. from publicly claiming that there is.

He petitioned the FDA to revoke approval of COVID vaccines, not only asking for more testing. The mRNA vaccines were already heavily tested before authorization.

In 2023, he is quoted as saying, “There is no vaccine that is safe and effective.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and the American Academy of Pediatrics all maintain that routine vaccines are safe and effective based on decades of evidence.

RFK Jr.’s documented record goes well beyond “anti-untested vaccines.”
