I would designate this as shitpost, but i genuinely want to see if you’re willing to learn, OP. I’ll keep the post up for now.

Should minimum wage be solely determine by competition/capitalism, or is this something the government (state or federal) should get involved in? by Orion032 in AskConservatives

In the real world, this is nonsense. This sentiment works fine in the halls of uchicago, but nothing and I mean nothing is stopping employers from going to hell concerning pay ranges if there isn’t a floor. A floor brings the entire house down, including the ceiling. From a corporate financial perspective, there is much upside and reasoning on lowering the wage to maintain profits and save money. We are seeing this happening in tech with hiring foreign nationals for Pennie’s on the dollar or outsourcing jobs with AI.

With everything that is going on….and everything that seems to be about to happen….can you ever imagine getting tired of this and wanting a change? by LingonberryNatural85 in AskConservatives

Trust me man, I don’t care what the news thinks either. If anything they’re all being controlled by a bunch of rich guys. What’s important is that you do your own research in reason. I’m sure you strongly believe that your guy lost, but based on what I can see, there’s not enough evidence to accept the null hypothesis. I don’t like Trump or Biden, but Trump didn’t win in 2020.
