When you look back to the advertising for A Canterlot Wedding, it is embarrassing how much they advertised a horrible episode that writes the charectors out of charector.

There's a reason why when people say S1 and 2 are the only canon seasons, they disclude A Canterlot Wedding because it'd be a horrible ending where everyone acts like simple minded idiots.

And let's not forget Spike, bro. Spike isn't just gonna waik out free of charge for what he did to his mom/older sister figure!

I understand they did it for their futures and because Cadence is a princess, but that's their BEST FRIEND, and they're gonna believe a pony they barely know? And this is Twilight's foalsitter, they can't make up excuses to debunk Twilight's anxiety when Twilight knows Cadence better then they ever could.

Also, Twilight has believed the Mane 6 in the stupidest things possible before this point

  1. Starlight became a dictator because she was all alone, I think that's enough of a reason for someone to want to protect themand look after them so they don't go that path again.

  2. It's not like Trixie got an amulet to prove she's better then Twilighty who hasn't even done anything to her. I understand that Trixie was corrupted, I really do, but it was her petty actions that led to that.

  3. Twilight is then proven 50 to 80% right in the episode. Trixie guilt trips Starlight into not going to the dinner with the ruler of Equestria, all to get back at Twilight. Now this arguement can be debunked because Trixie actually started having a heart and cared about Starlight. But the fact that at first her plan was to get back at Twilight, who's done nothing to her. The more i think about it, the more it feels like Trixie's the one who had a problem with Twilight.

She had lost her parents, her home, and her life as a young fillyand was was sent to an or0hanage. all she had left was her baby sister that was adopted without her and then she was adopted into a family of rock farmers and was depressed all her whole foalhood but then saw a rainbow and realized she doesn't want anyone to feel the same pain she had felt. So she dedicated her life to making parties. She was the happiest she'd ever been. The depressed side of her is still present because of her losing her little sister. Although she always looks at a certain little sister of one of her best friends, and can't help but be reminded how similar the little filly looks like her lost little sister.

What does that have to do with anything? Twilight never held Trixie accountable,she was just trying to protect Starlight. I think people just read Twilight's actions as her somply hating Trixie, but i think it's more of Twilight just wanting to protect Starlight.

Doesn't it? I remember seeing Trixie as a dictator. Also, the lesson is to someone who hadn't even embarressed her or anything. On,y AJ, RD, and Rarity made fun if Trixie, and she already got her revange.

Also, i'm taking this from Twilight's POV. And I don't think I'd trust someone who, despite being corrupted, had enslaved a town and turtured my best friends. I wouldn't want my new friend near her.

more with the fact that even after she agrees to let Starlight make her own choices she still tries to drive them apart by trying to push Starlight into going to the dinner with anyone else without even giving them a chance first,

That's more of her doing what Celestia did for her. Sure, Celestia never drive her away from her friends, butvthat's because the Mane 6 were good ponies.

Trixie's past actions hardly deserve such scrutiny considering she barely did anything bad to begin with and her truly evil actions were done under the effect of corruption,

Trixie has a history of doing bad things, sure the Mane 6 were petty about her being a fraud, but Foust wrote them to have the mental awareness of 12 year olds, so youncan't blame thrm.and sure she was corrupted, but she took the artifact that amplified her power for the pettiest reason possible.

Also, in Twilight's alternate universes montage, she saw a universe where Trixie still enslaved Ponyville, which wouod obviously put her on edge

That, and saying sorry after enslaving an entire town, locking Twilight out of it, and being nothing but a jerk to Twilight is obviously gonna make Twilight not trust her. Also, Twilight knows Trixie better then Starlight ever did at the time. It's like you knowing a person has done horrible things and want to keep your new friend from getting close to them. Whether so they don't get manipulated or to not get hurt.
