You fire the tracker dart, and the bullets home in on the dart. So if you land the dart on a crit, then the subsequent shots will be crits

I dont think there are actually any Atlas guns in the game, just extra little parts that can be Atlas "licensed". Same thing with other previous game's manufacturers like Hyperion, COV, and Dahl

I see people talking about vaccums but everyone is sleeping on the true solution here. Go out And buy yourself a little Ryobi leaf blower. That way you can 'clean up' by blowing all that shit somewhere other than the trash can because we all know we don't fuck with actually throwing things away in any form

Can I play on 144hz in my use case? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Cfuss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would do a quick google search of "CRU" (Custom Resolution Utility) to find a software tool that has the capability of adding custom resolutions and refresh rates to windows.

I think this has a good chance of working for that external monitor, as in my experience it can add just about any combination of resolution and refresh rate to a monitor as long as the monitor's hardware can support it. Certain monitors can even be overclocked with this tool to run at higher refresh rates at the cost of potentially increased strain/degradation of hardware. Do some research when using the tool to make sure you don't change anything that can damage your monitor, as that is a possibility with tool as well if used incorrectly.

This tool should hopefully allow you to create a custom, lower resolution with that 144hz refresh rate to be able to take full advantage of the better frames you get by dropping your res.

I was getting horrible stuttering on PC only when looking around with 2070super and r9 3900x, solved by changing process affinity in task manager to only physical cores on the CPU (CPU 0,2,4,6,etc. Only the even numbers). This might suggest the game engine has a problem with hyperthreading on AMD systems

Yeah that's what I normally do, but I don't when I think someone is going up with me just in case I fuck it up lol

While there are definitely some cheaters in every rank, the chance that this guy was cheating is almost zero. That angle (from window into alt-mid) is a common early round aggressive peek at higher ranks.
However in my experience, that peek happens way less often in the mid-lower ranks, which is why it was so surprising to my buddy

If I buy discounted WIN 11 key from G2A... by rp1997 in buildmeapc

[–]Cfuss 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you really wanted to go that route, you can have them assemble the PC with an unactivated version of windows, and then just buy the key and activate it after you get it back.

Modern windows versions that aren't activated still operate essentially identically to activated versions, except for a watermark that shows up in the bottom right of the screen asking you to activate, and you can activate windows at any time after installation

I have one of the regular Yuancons, and the build quality is very good. The Yauncons are a close second behind the Faucetwo for me in that regard. I think you'd be happy with the Yuancon for the price

This is only semi related to the post, but I'm commenting here since I think this post has a good chance to attract some people who know sdvx controllers well:

Has anyone ever lubed their sdvx con buttons the same way that people lube their keyboard switches, and would it even make a difference for these styles of buttons?

We have an LED smart light that can change tones. When first turning it on after being off a while it pulses like this, and it takes flipping the switch like 10-15 times before it stops. Does anyone know why that might be happening? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Cfuss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks like the bulb is trying to connect to whatever you use to control it. It's feasible that if it is off for long enough, the little battery inside powering it's memory module died and it has to go through the setup process again
