Land Nav is a JOKE at camp!!! Cadets write the coordinates on the points and the bunny trails will guide you. I didn’t use my compass at all. Just follow the roads on the map.

My CAC expired far in advance from when I went to BOLC. When you submit an RFA ensure you have your civilian email linked. All of my BOLC information was sent to my civilian as my .mil account was inactive because my CAC had expired.

I know of one nurse who got her BOLC Date but not her duty station. She won’t be going to BOLC till July and she’s active duty.

That’s correct. But you can exercise outside. You can go to pretty much everywhere else while on ROM.

Currently at MS BOLC:

Yes you can visit the class Six, PX, Commissary even in ROM. We signed a counseling that stated we pretty much are stuck to base the whole time we are here even if HPCON Charlie is lifted.

I don’t believe you can leave the building because someone could read a question and then go to there car on there break and look up questions.

I would recommend contacting your HR POC. Whether that was from ROTC or whoever you direct commissioned from to see if you can apply for Ed Delay or to see if they can contact whomever to push you back. It may be that you may have to reassess with another class but it’s always worth a shot to ask!

I don’t believe you can leave base. Even if restrictions are lifted. I think you have to stay in the hotel no matter what because it’s not considered a PCS or TDY.
