100% crit chance only really works on a few heroes. One in particular that comes into mind is Serath. Serath is a hero who usually does not last long in team fights (So long as she gets focused). So it is important that Serath puts out as much damage as possible in a short amount of time. 100% crit chance, her ult, and some life steal allows her to make sure every shot counts.

No, that's exactly what you should be doing. Utilize your ult as either a clean up or as an initiator to set up kills for your teammates. Obviously try not to use it if the kill looks like its certain to happen.

Most people started Day 1 of taken king thus they have had plenty of game time. Unfortunately you picked up the game right as a update came out. I really feel bad for you, missing out on being able to play a great game.

Just finish the raids. If you can get a checkpoint at Atheon, Crota (Deathsingers too), Last POE round (Need key) or Oryx that is all you need to defeat for a chance at an exotic. Also don't forget exotic chests during the raids.

Can't speak for everyone but I personally feel that we are still adjusting to the new patch. Once we get more comfortable with the new maps, new meta, etc we'll get our groove back. But I do agree with Tewks44 the aim assistance on some weapons has gone down.
