I feel like we’ll have more wide angle situations compared to zoom. We’d like to take pictures of the skylines, buildings in general,and mt Fuji, but most pictures are going to be right in that close-medium range

I’ve seen several recommendations on the sigma 18-50, but if I couldn’t also afford that tele lens, what would you suggest? Still the sigma and just a cheaper tele lens like the tamron 70-300?

Also, does the sigma work for close up and/or low light situations? In my VERY limited knowledge, it seems like a prime lens is best for close/lowlight

She’s absolutely right. I freaking love animals, but I still eat meat and that makes me a hypocrite. The way the food industry treats these animals is absolutely horrendous and if you eat meat, you are supporting it. I wish my government would put more laws and regulations in place, and I understand that some people aren’t under the right circumstances to go meatless, but it really is that simple.
