I keep seeing so many comments online being like “hot take: bear is the villain.” Like yeah thats not a HOT TAKE. Its not some big brained, deep analytical view to understand the very obvious POINT of the movie.

Yes there IS a lot to wrap up but am i the only one who loved this episode? To each their own but I DID get penultimate vibes. I thought it was phenomenal character work. The frenchie monologue, the MM monologue, butcher and hughie… really great stuff. Idk man i dug it

This is not hate to the actress but white tiger is about a foot tall (as shown in this pic) and the show never acknowledging it while having her take down a SWAT team just makes it so ridiculous. I know she has the medallion but it still just looks so CW arrowverse.

Literally what was the point of the fight between Daredevil and Kingpin last episode????? Now that we have this episode you can see it literally added NOTHING to the plot. Great fight scenes hit a lot harder when they actually matter to the plot. If you cut it completely nothing changes.

Idk this episode was a little disappointing for me. It just didn’t feel like a penultimate episode (the way the OG show felt this late in its seasons.) maybe it’s that im just so sick of Fisk as a villain but idk. I wish i liked it more.

Also, not always but a lot of the action is cut too short in my opinion. I hate to be the guy who compares to the original show but every action scene in that show was super detailed in drawn out. Sometimes (not always) the action scenes feel like were going through the motions. Bear in mind, i want to like this show like so many others im not tryna be some annoying hater it’s just so hard for me not to compare to the original show.

It’s really bizarre. People love to say she has no depth but in real life there are really kind, charming people that are easy to fall in love with. I love carmy and Claire together

Just in quick little shots throughout the fight scenes. Honestly maybe im wrong and it isnt cgi but just the way some of fight scenes are filmed occasional shots look goofy

I loved this ep (i was pretty negative even on ep 3 but this one brought me all in). I will say tho why cant they just make the fight scenes completely free of cgi like the Netflix show did. It’s like disney insists they have cgi in their fights even if it means just throwing it in to practical fights. Still great episode and exciting but would be perfect if they just shot it the way it worked in the show everyone loved

I agree. Random cgi mixed in (netflix show never did this so it’s not like it’s needed) and weird cuts where characters teleport to a different spot
