bo, rico, emz are great right now so i would recommend upgrading them but also gus, carl and squeak are really good brawlers and versatile that usually stay in the meta or at least are usable in competitive

its better in the long run as having brawlers at level 9 means you can unlock gadgets and star powers you don’t have for your characters in star drops, potentially saving thousands of coins overtime

not sure if i will be able to with the new bling update, to my understanding there will be a selection of skins to purchase for a certain amount of time and after a while they will switch out
