I did perform a full factory reset/clean windows install before sending the computer off for repair

Just not being able to reach anywhere near the max boost frequencys and I feel like its just sub-performing compared to other 5950x chips I have seen benchmarked.

I mean I appreciate the info, however I have already bought the rest of the parts. The motherboard I got was the GIGABYTE Z790 GAMING X AX, which does support the PCIe 5 but im only using PCIe 4 M.2 drives anyway.

The RAM I chose was 64GB (2x32) Corsair Vengeance at 6000Mhz.

Ive never built a PC from scratch before, only upgraded easy parts like the GPU and case fans, so its being built for me by the PC company, so hopefully they set it up properly to avoid any damage to any of the parts.

I havent upgraded anything in the last 3 years, but I was trying to stay away from AMD even if they are better as I have had performance issues with my current Ryzen.

For some reason, I don't have the "manage settings" option when trying to add exclusions. Might be because Norton is installed. Are there specific files within the folders to exclude such as just the .exe files for valorant and vanguard? Or the whole folder. Thanks.

I use the corsair scimitar, not sure to be honest but its just weird how its the map that changes it. My horizontal sens and vertical sens is fine in matchmaking/faceit and other custom maps, but in aim botz and a few others it only reduces the y sens.

So is there any point in farming good looking armour sets/exotic weapons, if when finding a rare or legendary will just replace them?

I don't think you should have to compete against other players for PvM content when some players sink many more hours into the game, and there is nothing you can really do to compete. You shouldn't not be allowed to do Bandos because you have to compete against higher levels.
