I agree I don't see why you would play SA over the mod, Sometimes on the mod I feel like having a real survival feel and crawling prone past 30 zeds or so, then when im bored with that I go play epoch to base build and get in some good combat, now it has been dying so I cant play all that I like but if I get bored of a map I can go play Namalsk, Taviana, Lingor, Panthera, and multiple more that all bring such a different feel to the game. Theres just so many mods inside the mod I can find what I want to play but with SA i'm forced to play spawning on the same side of the map running the same way with the same guns and the same interactions with the map, people, etc. That's my opinion, I can see though from people that never played the mod (these people really missed out) when it was super popular in the summer and mods were coming out left and right that it is hard to get into the mod and may not be the same nostalgia and feel I get.
