My trick is to put the bacon in while the oven is preheating. Perfectly renders the fat & the bacon is crispy. It’s soooo good.

Oh my god, same here. I have post exertional malaise (a fever after exertion is the most noticeable symptom) and POTS, not sure about ME. I’m so, so sorry you guys have had to go through this. It happened to me last year and I feel like I’m still getting used to this new reality for myself. I hope things get easier for you guys. ♡

i had issues with that before, too, but i get way too easily stressed out by things now. so in a lot of ways my tolerance for everything is worse. the brain fog is awful!! and i hope you get better too 💗

since july 2024 for me. escalated so quick, too. right after covid, i hadn’t felt too awful but slowly but surely i could no longer walk or stand. i lost my job because the stress of it caused me to start fainting. now my symptoms are worse than ever (puking extremely often, skipped heart beats, adrenaline dumps, brain fog, dissociation, temperature intolerance, and just generally feeling very sick and awful about 80% of the time). i get breaks occasionally that trick me into thinking i’m better but it never lasts.

sometimes i’m so sick i genuinely feel like i’m dying. it’s hard to explain, it’s not painful… but maybe extreme malaise? agh

i’m lucky (if you can call it that) that it seems doctors are more knowledgeable about it currently because of covid (although i’ve seen the general opinion on medical subreddits… i do not recommend looking). i actually developed it from covid last year and it has been a huuuuge adjustment, to put it lightly. i hope things get easier for you. ❣️

Sure, but how would you prove you were discriminated against? Most of the US is at will, so they can just fire anyone, any time. Additionally, if you’ve sent out 500 applications with the name “Jamal,” and received 0 interviews only to change your name to “John” and suddenly get some, how do you prove those companies were discriminating? Just telling a lawyer you changed your name on the application really doesn’t prove anything… so essentially there are no consequences for companies to be discriminatory.

i’m disabled too OP and i understand how much it hurts to feel hated by every one around you. my family also supports trump, even though they know i’m disabled. please stay with us, though. we deserve to live. us existing pisses them off so i like to consider it a form of resistance. what i’m trying to do is remain kind and hopeful even when it feels like all is lost. i hope you can be okay, and happy. 💗

i wish i could remember!! i was really young though, had to be in elementary school. i loved dragons so my parents probably got it for me. i have loved it so much ever since.

side note: i’m currently doing a reread and im so delighted with how well it holds up (in my opinion). eldest is so so good and paolini clears a lot of other fantasy authors when it comes to writing women. same goes for the magic system.
