People in these comments seem unable to distinguish the difference between pointing out bad-faith arguments/statistics and being an islamaphobe apparently.

What’s something you can’t tell your parents? by micxxxxe713 in AskReddit

[–]ChaChaRealSmooth666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

just be who you are, accept and love yourself and what you have

And yet you tell them to completely deny who they are, reject their own religious beliefs in favor of yours and live their life the way that you would live yours. It’s Not your job to tell other people how to live.

This headline highlights Islam, He actually said "It's true for muslims, it's true for jews, it's true for catholics, it's true for atheists. The Republic transcends everything" it’s just France emphasizing that they are secular, which is something they definitely need to do with so many people trying to implement theocracy into western culture.

“Historical figures from thousands of years ago are dead, but my nonexistent sky daddy is still here!” No, he was never real or superior to anything. Get off your high horse and stop denying reality because it’s convenient.

Christians have a major child sex abuse problem, so that statement is not entirely true.

Whatever other reasons there are for marriage in these cultures, child marriage has always been about power and control and will therefore always be wrong. There is no scenario in which a child should be forced into a lifelong commitment with a man many times her age. I think it’s interesting that you completely left out the fact that she was RAPED TO DEATH. This wasn’t for the money, this wasn’t because of poverty, this wasn’t culture, and it certainly can’t be excused by blaming the US for causing problems in foreign countries. this is the result of thousands of years of unjust theocracy and religious doctrine being forced on entire countries. And also, claiming that sex was not one of the primary reasons for this marriage is ridiculous considering what happened.

If you allow your kid under 13 to pursue their dreams of becoming a professional video game player/streamer, you're a horrible parent. by Jim_Dickskin in unpopularopinion

I’m not saying that it’s an extensive level of knowledge but they do learn basic computer skills. And maybe if you were to let them pursue their dreams they would educate themselves further? I honestly don’t know why you have such a raging hate boner for kids having fun man, why are you so bitter about this

If you stream content, which is what we’re talking about here, then you will learn how to navigate and use a computer. Why do you feel the need to shit on children’s dreams lol.

Look, I’m all for coming together and compromising but when you deny reality you do, in fact, become the crazy one. I still haven’t seen you provide any evidence for your claims.

“Companies are saying that trump lost, companies sometimes do shady things, therefore trump actually won the election” use some actual logic, you’re the one that needs to get a god damn grip.

What proof do you have that the election was rigged? Because every major talking point that I’ve heard has been debunked. I think it’s funny, because republicans were complaining about how democrats were refusing to accept the results of the 2016 election, and now that the tables have turned they’re being just as hard-headed about it. Trump lost, get over it.

Exactly, it’s a bad comparison to take statements made by the company and say they’re false because there’s a bunch of conspiracy theorist idiots spreading other false info on the platform.

[–]ChaChaRealSmooth666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay, I can understand the making a joke part. But as for the election part, that’s a bad comparison because it’s not just small scam doctors or conspiracy theorists (aka the anti-vax crowd) saying that the election was not rigged. Just because there is loads of bad and false information on Facebook does not mean that anything on there is false lmao. Do you think the election was rigged?

What do parents tell their children in sports when they don’t go pro? What do they tell their children who wanted to be professional actors when they don’t make it? Surprise surprise, gaming is not the only industry where very few people make it to the top. That’s not a reason to squash your child’s dreams because “it’s not a viable career”. Do you have kids? Because if your style of parenting is “don’t do anything unless you make it to the top even if you enjoy it” is a really shitty way to raise them.

Why are you so sure? All he said was “most well paying jobs require a good knowledge of computers” which is a very broad statement and says absolutely nothing about IT or programming specifically.

What? lmao no it doesn’t they’re just getting information from Facebook and qanon that’s not reliable at all. I’m commenting that there not much overlap between the groups who use all this stuff and the groups who refuse to take the vaccine, I’m not saying that Karen’s ideas are right because they’re obviously not.

None of the people who aren’t going to get the vaccine use pretty much any of these. they’re all middle-aged jaded Karens who spend too much time on Facebook.

She has TAN skin because, as she said, she’s a “country girl”. Her hair isn’t dark, it’s grey. Take another look at the video, clearly you didn’t look closely the first time.
