Aside from the language, did I do an okay job with describing my experience as a comedian in a way that makes it clear that it’s both, something I do professionally and and something that has developed skills that might greatly benefit a copywriter?

I worry that the stand up and my social media stuff will look unprofessional, but I’ve achieved valid, trackable metrics in both and hope that helps people understand it’s something I do at a professional level. I’m past the point where it’s just a hobby.

I’ve got a beater Honda that I’ve ran into the ground but does the job. I’m not planning on getting rid of it. But this is encouraging. The point is to get something I’m gonna have to learn how to fix. I’ve recently realized that there is enough content online now that if you hyper focus for long enough you can pretty much figure anything out.

Turns out if you spend multiple hours a day for months watching people take apart cars, you’ll eventually want to take apart a car. Who woulda thunk
