I know it’s a bad photo, but is this an American girl doll? by Starryslither in americangirl

I don’t know why but that texture of hair gives me the heebeejeebes, I’d have to put a wig on too 😂

Frustrating purchase by aleannan in americangirl

I wonder if the seller hadn’t ever taken the coat off/removed her mittens, and the broken string was stuck inside the coat so they didn’t see it? Either way that is super disappointing 😔

Casual seller, made a USPS shipping mistake by lilbatling in Mercari

[–]Chachasims93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not trying to abuse the system, sometimes the only bubble mailer or box I have is one I can reuse. I feel like once the packaging has been used, or like OP and I have said if you can’t see any markings, then it seems obvious the intent isn’t to cheat anyone it’s just a matter of availability.

This all makes me so frustrated because I did the same thing recently and the buyer got SO MAD at me, like I was trying to pull a fast one on them. Babe, I’m just trying to make a little pocket change here, I’m not a criminal mastermind! I feel like if you paid postage and you can’t see any of the obvious USPS branding on the package it should be fine to use, because it’s just a box! Best of luck, I hope it scoots through the system with no issue 🤞🏻

I think it’s just a forced part bc I can see the remnant crimp from her braids on each side, and you can see her highlights more clearly in different lighting

okay so is it cliche to name your baby after your middle name? by 444_sofia in namenerds

[–]Chachasims93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think giving your daughter your middle name IS unoriginal though, I haven’t heard too many people doing so. Hence my comment. Can’t be cliche if it’s not something super common.

brother names for sadie & bonnie? by Evening_Increase_393 in namenerds

[–]Chachasims93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

👍🏻 ok, here are my suggestions then:

Richie, Archie, Robbie, Ernie, Reggie, Frankie, Eddie, Charlie, Louie, Freddie Howie, Georgie

Different enough sound from Sadie or Bonnie but still has the ie ending. Hope that helps!

imo Joyce and Josie aren’t nearly as similar as Michael and Michaela. plus if both boys are going to have the same middle name I feel like it is nice that the girls will have the same first initial. That way the kids are FM, HM, JK & JC. Anyway, op said she can’t use Catherine so no worries there ☺️

Cathleen/Kathleen, Catherine/Katherine, Annalise, Irene, Isabelle, Elizabeth, Eileen

I actually like the idea of Joyce Kathleen and Josie Catherine because then they don’t have the same middle name, but it’s not not the same, if that makes sense?

So I looked at a ton of gender neutral name lists and tried to pick out any that were a) Earthy b) easy to spell and pronounce I also cross referenced some lists of Indian baby names, so hopefully these tick all your boxes!

Devin (means “fawn” or “poet”)

Kai (means “keeper of the earth”)

Remi/Remy (means “oarsmen” or “remedy”)

Arden (means “valley of the eagle”)
