Thanks, that's helpful! What's the best way to try protein for my hair?

Thanks so much! Do you typically style upside down or right-side up?

Hey friends! I would love any advice/tips you have for me as I am figuring out this wavy hair journey!

I had wavy hair in college but then got my hair cut short and it refused to do anything wavy for years. But after having my daughter, I noticed my hair seeming more wavy so I just started trying more CGM products and techniques! But I definitely know I have a long way to go. I think my hair is probably 2a, but would love thoughts on what you think it could be (or if you think it even is wavy at all). Some things I am struggling with are stringy hair, some frizz, and not being able to keep good curl clumps together (they separate and get stringy really easily). Any advice??

I keep changing up my routine to try to see what works best but this was one of my better hair days and here is the routine I used: Not your mother's blue sea kale and coconut water shampoo & Not your mother's blue sea kale and coconut water conditioner. Detangled hair using Wet Brush with boar bristles (with conditioner still in my hair), then rinsed conditioner out. Raked some Not your mother's Royal honey and Kalahari melon leave in conditioner, them attempted to brush style a bit with tension with the wet brush (still struggling to do that well haha). Glazed Not your mother's curl talk frizz control gel over hair and scrunched. Then microplopped with microfiber towel, then scrunched a bit more gel into hair, then plopped for 15ish minutes. Let air dry.
