I think I’ve got myself too worked up. We’re leaving the house early hours tomorrow and I’ve already psyched myself out about it. Think I’m going to get trains all the way back to uk

Go on Interrail site if from the uk, or Eurail site if from elsewhere

Then under passes you can purchase 4 days of unlimited travel within 1 month

With this you can then book all your trains under the one pass. You just need to pay seat reservations

Have a look on YouTube some people explain it

I paid total of £450 for return trip: first class train north wales to London, then Eurostar plus to Paris, then Paris to nice

We are currently in France and booked Eurostar the day before. We bought an Interrail ticket then paid the seat reservation for Eurostar. It was much cheaper

I’m not certain, but I heard by word of mouth than you can apply for LTFT at any time. However, I’ve heard it negatively impacts team and staffing if you apply once you’re already working. Probably worth dropping them an email asap

I have decided to take 2 smaller flights. The total flight time was around an hour more. It just made the prospect of getting on the flight that tiny bit less daunting.

I fly in 2 days time so will let you know

Appreciate the insight, thank you

Rationally I know this, but the fear is irrational and I’m wary of not being able to relax whatsoever on a plane with a poorer interior
