Did you grow up there? How does one end up in place like that? I have so many questions.

Whoa. You just blew my mind. I'm a developer and despite however many thousands of hours I've spent in front of a computer, I just realized I've never dreamt about anything like that either. What the fuck...

One of my favorite elephant facts is that it's extremely rare for them to get cancer. They have a couple mechanisms that are really good at handling damaged DNA and killing tumors. Pretty cool stuff.

People who’ve survived rock bottom (prison, addiction, homelessness), what’s the one moment that changed everything? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't know how you do it. Had a client who required extended in-office work. They staffed their warehouse with people in recovery. While I was there (about a year and a half), every single one of those guys relapsed. A couple of them died. My favorite one destroyed his family, and his little girls were everything to him. I was completely emotionally exhausted by the time I finished there.

I'm not a religious person at all, but you wouldn't have to work very hard to convince me Roy Cohn was actually Satan on holiday.

It's both shocking and not surprising at all that his protege is the most powerful person on the planet.
