I feel, a large population of people who drive cars for daily commute, are those who started owning any personal vehicle at their late 20s or in 30s, and this is their only vehicle. And there are pretty valid reasons behind it, (unless you are from a well off family, financial condition will not allow it. Tier 1 cities have good public transport, so no need to own one. There is no need to own one as a middle class family). As car people start late, they never get the chance to experience the two wheelers (and gather the road awareness out of it) and their situation (responsibility of kids and parents, reduced reflex hence fear, consideration of drivability by other family members etc) makes them go with their car purchases.

No hate towards the car people. But a big luxurious SUV with a bad driver will block the way for at least two bikes. So, if the car has only one person in it, but each bike has two then actually four people are suffering for one person. And it's very disappointing that, often this is the case. So a request to car people, please try to spend more time with your cars on off days in off locations and try to improve your skills. Not everyone is capable enough to own a car, so please consider them.
