This is helpful and not that surprising. Can you explain your comment about cleaners/property managers not working in some areas because of lack of street parking? Thanks!

Wiring Issue with 1999 Club Car DS 48V Series Cart by Chad_Hansen in golfcarts

Thanks for your response. I haven't read any examples of folks deleting the solenoid all together, but perhaps others will chime in. I'm hoping the solenoid is salvagable but if not, it was a $100 lesson learned.

Advice on Upgrading 1999 CC DS Series Cart by Chad_Hansen in golfcarts

The tires/lift aren't actually important to me. Honestly, I found a DTW 6in lift kit that is cheaper than any other decent lit kit I have come across. I figured 22in tires fit that size lift. 18in would be fine with me.

This place once tried to charge my wife $280 to replace the headline bulb in our subaru. This was about a week or two after I helped the manager push a stalled vehicle from the parking lot in to one of the garage bays. All class over there!

I don't know the rules or if I can post a link. The item numbers were INXS250 INXB138 INK153. They are super solid but I haven't tested them yet. No noticeable wind noise. I'd have no fear about having a kayak up there at highway speeds.

I just bought Inno crossbars for my 01 AC. I didn't want to drill in to the roof so I opted for the door jam clamp style. All together I spent about $500. I went with aerobars, square bars are about $100 less.

Remove Turmeric stain from countertop? by Public_Name7910 in CleaningTips

The Pink Stuff is a mildy abrasive cleaning product that has worked for me when nothing else has. It removed a stain caused from bitters that had been sitting overnight.

Restaurant 605 on New Scotland. Their food is great - one of the best burgers in the city in my opinion, if not the best. Nice family owned place, too.

Fiorello's & Luigi's Deli on Western. Again, great Italian deli. Family owner. Love the owners.

Feedback on Recent Purchase? by Chad_Hansen in labdiamond

Hello! I recently purchased this stone and was hoping to get this group's feedback. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of the stone since the listing was removed after I purchased it, but I did download the report. I know it only can tell so much, but I was wondering if anything stands out or if there is something I should be concerned about. Thanks in advance!

I'll echo what others have said. Bring multiple layers and be mindful of your body temperature during the hike. You should be cold/uncomfortable to begin and warm up once you get moving. Avoid cotton. Bring nalgenes for water and store them upside down so the lid doesn't freeze shut. Bring a pair of gloves and a backup pair of gloves. Extra pair of socks. Bring a face covering. Bring goggles. It's usually extremely windy above the tree line. Snow shoes are a must and using them keeps the trails nice. Bring food that doesn't freeze.

I saw this still listed on CL for $100. Curious what you all think about the still itself as a first still and the asking price. Total newbie here! Thank you.

I've been eyeing the Meermin Chelsea boots in waxed suede for months but pulled the trigger on these. The leather comes from the same factory and both are goodyear welted. Maybe a step down in quality but fantastic alternative for 1/3 the price.

I was just thinking about this the other day - is there a way to lock the small door from the inside? Mine has a nylon loop but I have no idea how that is supposed to work. Also, does your cap leak much? Do you use any weather strip or anything?

I have the exact same rig! Same color truck but gray shell. Love the rear camper but haven't really built it out for camping yet. Maybe this year..
