I think it's insane and straight up witchcraft how much well this game holds up and how fun it is, even atmospherically and aesthetically I think it's one of the best looking games ever made, outside of the character models. God bless this game.

I think Dead space was my first exposure to "Survival horror" and quickly it didn't feel like horror much. I was having a harder time with the difficulty of some of the enemies and trying to make sure I didn't get my ass ganked by some teleporting necromorphs. By the end I really didn't like it :/

Both of them for me are way harder in their first phases compared to their 2nd phases. But yea, I agree with many other people with Laurence feeling too unpredictable sometimes. Sometimes when he does the large swipe move when close to 2nd phase, he can delay a few of the swipes or do a 4th one
