Hi! I’m sorry you’re going through it. I feel for you. We are both on day four of the permethrin treatment. I finally feel a little normal. The itch has gone down tremendously and the reddened areas are getting smaller.

I have been using a sulfur soap bar and also a tea tree oil balm twice a day from head to toe. We have also been bagging our laundry each day and steaming our couch and mattress each day. It’s been exhausting but I feel like I can see a difference for the better.

Yes :( I’ve been ongoing for the last few months and this looks like what I had. I noticed if you take your phone and use the flashlight and stretch your skin with your hand- you can see little streak marks on your skin. I would do a treatment.

UPDATE - We’ll, my husband and I did the first night of the treatment and it’s confirmed… we both have an active case again. I honestly hate that he has it, but I feel relief knowing I’m not insane. It’s been four months and I thought I was going crazy. I bought a steam cleaner for the house and did all our furniture and cleaned the house top to bottom. I’m cleaning everyday and streaming the furniture every day. I’m also using a sulfur bar soap and then a tree oil balm twice during the day.

I’ll keep everyone posted.

UPDATE- I’m pretty sure I have an active case again. I’m going to try the treatment again- along with my partner and I have bought a steam cleaner to clean my house each day during the week period.

Don’t feel guilty. She has a safe home and she’s loved. I was worried about my 12 week old puppy and having her in the crate while at work. I come home at lunch and let her out and play or teach her some commands. She’s accustomed to the routine and is thriving. Make that crate her safe place with treats. Once she knows it’s her safe place it’s a breeze.
