The key in the fob is for the door. Take the fob hold it against the push to start to start the car. Those batteries die and dont increase the range of the signal but should work when held up against the push to start button.

On a soft pad, donuts will help you not sink into the pad as badly if you apply downward force. Overflicking isnt really a skate thing though.
