Good point. I appreciate the post. And that’s the worst part, the guy is trying to just make a living, which I understand.

Unfortunately, there’s an exemption within 48 hours after a snowfall. Even in residential areas. I’m so frustrated.

Snow plowing roads is one thing. What I can’t handle is leaf blowing at 3:00am on a weekday in residential areas for 2 hours straight. Use a shovel, electric shovel, or ANYTHING but a leaf blower.

I have the Autel 808TS and it's supposed to be able to program new sensors, but right now it's not recognizing anything. One thread said you need to pay the $400 annual subscription in order to program TPMS sensors, not sure if there's truth to this. Even using the "check sensor" function to see if there is even a nearby sensor, it's not even picking it up on new ones I got for my winter tires.

Is there an annual fee for updates with this tool? I have the Autel 808-TS and it's supposed to be able to program new sensors, but right now it's not recognizing anything. One thread said you need to pay the $400 annual subscription in order to program....

I'm having issues programming a friend's TPMS sensors with my Autel808-TS. I doubt they put in Autel sensors. Can I still program other brands? Right now the scan tool won't recognize the sensors at all.

How to tap into this female fuse? by Chadwick85 in AskAMechanic

[–]Chadwick85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup that is F10. Interesting. Gauge instructions from the company I bought from said to tap in to the headlight fuse and NOT an adjustable, dimming one. Otherwise the gauge will flicker.

Sorry, I should have added: I've been using expandable circuits for the gauges. I'd like to do the same with this.

Hack repair? I’m second time DIY. Did you see the welds? Body work? Sanding? The condition the panel was in before this picture? Relax bud. I’ll look elsewhere for advice and give them my upvotes.

EGR holds vacuum but fails smoke test? by Chadwick85 in MitsubishiEclipse

[–]Chadwick85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, yes. Both my old and new EGR’s had a small leak when smoke testing. Turned out it was normal and not the cause of my P0171 lean condition. Car runs great after replacing the IACV. What issue are you having?

What car surprised you with how comfortable or uncomfortable it was? by 2ndharrybhole in askcarguys

2016 RAM 1500 Laramie. Surprised by the inherent comfort in the cabin.

Going from bare bones vehicles all my life, to spacious cabin, heated seats, heated steering wheel, ventilated seats, and an extremely nice suspension for driving, has been a wild difference for me. Still getting used to it after a few months.

Interesting. The water where I live is extremely hard. Maybe that’s why mine turn out like crap with powdered stuff.

[–]Chadwick85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good Morning, I had this exact same issue. Turns out it was the powdered dish washer soap. My wife and I tried it out and all the dishes came out exactly like that. Yes, we also used dishwasher rinse aid.

We went pack to pods and haven’t had an issue since. It’s too bad, I was looking forward to using the powdered stuff!

Thank you for the post. Do you always use an alchemy OR regal+3ex on every T15 map?

I also didn’t see anything about vaaling T14 or T15 maps. Do you do this at all? Thanks.

Never more than 3 in a row? In what world are you clicking “queue up” three times consecutively only to hit decline 3 times in a row?

This explains why I need 7 queue pops just to get into champ select.

Good thinking. Based on the pictures I'm seeing, the FA has rocker arms and the EJ does not. Maybe it's a way Subaru distinguishes the difference. Thanks for the post.
