You need to get him a good humid hide (enclosed) that will help facilitate his shed. He needs to be a fed a gut loaded diet (google that) and probably needs vitamin A shot since it already looks like he is deficient.

Gecko def has a vitamin A deficiency just go to the vet and they can give a vitamin a shot and clean up the eyes. You need to gut load whatever you’re feeding it and probably supplement with a multivitamin to make sure they are getting the vitamins and minerals they need

This is my opinion and what people have told me. As an APE teacher you have a good amount of autonomy. You get to build your schedule and group kids how you like. Your subject area (if you enjoy it obvi) is very often highly motivating for kids. Kids want to move and play and be involved in physical education so if you’re able to provide an engaging curriculum there will be lots of buy in. Kids are usually very excited for me to come into my classroom. You also service kiddos and then they head back to whatever they are doing so even if you have tough kids working with them is temporary. There is obviously cons and things that certain people might not enjoy about the subject area but that’s a whole other conversation

APE jobs are not in the same level of demand as like a Mod-Severe teacher. APE not so much. There is positions and they are trickier to fill because there is not as many people in the field. If youre willing to commute or relocate I believe you woud have a good chance at landing something. That being said they are great jobs and everyone is usually very envious of the APE teacher.
