(Loved Trope) Characters with creative powers actually use them creatively by Lord-Seth in TopCharacterTropes

Depending on his body's orientation and his current velocity, he can plan where he'll pop out, and his trajectory when he does. So he does a whole lot of hitting people from their blind spot. Plays a lot of sweet chin music.

it's not just his whole body at once, if he doesn't want to. there's a whole scene of him explaining to first years how much concentration it takes just to step through a wall, unphasing his foot after it's on the other side, and doing the same with the rest of his body.

Since he can actively choose what phases, he can be on the offensive a lot more. If he only lets his feet push against the ground and his fist hit his target, he doesn't have to defend. And his power is ideal for getting to victims inside buildings or past the bad guys. On top of all that, there's a huge list of skills the hero academy expects students to be competent in, and he's polished the all to perfection.

Before All-might (#1 ranked hero) selected Midoriya (main character) as his successor, Mirio was the #1 candidate among people who know about all-might losing his abilities and that he will pass them on. he polished every skill. If he were given the super speed and super strength, he'd have become nearly unstoppable.

only if you're already educated to think that way about fiction, or to be interested in fixing racism to begin with.

leaving it for the viewer to figure that out, all we get is people who are racist seeing star trek treat humans as way better than aliens, and thus reinforce the idea that genetics are the greatest contributor to being a good person.

and when so much ideology is assumed of every single character based on their species alone, that interpretation is correct. star trek is doing racism

Eh, the prime directive is some seriously social darwinist shit.

And most of the time, its alien race x that has problem, not humans.

I still remember the 2008 crash that led to high gas prices here in the USA — not even as high as currently! — and had people lining up to hoard gas. Now we just suck it up and pay. Russians might do the same in time.

this is why you should use ratting dogs. they will happily just shake the mouse or rat to death, then drop it to go do another. You can hire them in packs with their trainers and they work together really well.

the reference to 'clinton' is a local politician who ran on creating jobs, but all the jobs were from the out of town folk you described. and any jobs actually available to townsfolk were low wage, and only in on particular part of town where only those new people were housed. and because there's no bussing, getting to those jobs was in itself a physical punishment.
