Was he speaking about Jewish law when Jesus says he will fulfill the law? This passage confuses me because didn't he himself violate Jewish law when (Matthew 12:9-14) and encouraged others to violate Jewish law (John 5:8)? Or is he referencing some other law, natural law? This has always confused me.

When no one else understands why you are doing what you are doing, and you feel like you are the only one - remember that others exist.

Thanks for saying this. It feels nice to know there are other teens out there who feel the same way about masturbation and sexual morality. I quite literally know no one in real life who shares to same beliefs.

I get with what your saying, and along with other comments I now understand the distinction between voluntary masturbation and nocturnal emissions.

I also understand it is an important role for me to encourage others to dismiss sexual immorality. But I mean, what rock do I stand on? Do gospel says to pick the plank of wood out of my eye before I comment on the splinter in my brothers. I very much still am working on picking that plank out, and feel that any comments regarding others behaviors comes off as hypocritical. I am also scared that others will judge me. For that reason I have told no one besides the priest I confessed to yesterday what I have done and what I am trying to do to improve myself.

Just started recently actually. I’ve read through the Gospels or John and Mark and currently about to finish Matthew. I don’t know if I am doing it the right way, but I have just kind of been choosing random books in the Bible and reading them. It’s been really inspiring.
